Jacksonville st at MSU (-35)

This pick is for the fellow writer Sugar!! Michigan State is favored by 35 points which goes against my number one rule on never taking a spread that is ridiculously too big! However when a team from the Big Ten (is it still called that?) plays Jacksonville State, I'd say this is a pretty safe bet. Plus this State team (Michigan, not Jacksonville) is coming off a strong season last year and have title talks rumbling especially in the Traverse City area.

UNLV at AZ (-24)

Another huge spread that honestly could probably be a little bit higher. My namesake the Wild Catz are taking on a team that I have no idea what conference they play in. That is never a good sign in college football, and this one should be over quickly. Look for the Catz to score a few touchdowns early and the backups come in and pour it on in a 60-10 type rout!
