Woooooo boy do we got a doozy for ya today!! Perennial powerhouse Bayern Munich kicks things off today against the defending Premier League champs Manchester City!!! In one of the most highly anticipated Champions League group play matches in years!! Man City has already gotten off to a solid Premier League start, while Bayern is just doing Bayern things and blowing out lesser German teams like they were Poland during WW2 (sorry Sugar). From what I have gathered watching soccer over the years is that typically when two teams are this evenly matched and there is this much hype before the game, chances are it is going to disappoint. Teams have a tendency to rush things looking for that one big goal, like when you are playing FIFA co-op online and you pull up with Modric from sixty feet and launch one instead of tapping LB and Y to send that overhead through ball to a streaking Ronaldo!! Or in words most will understand, this shits about to get sloppy...like drunk Beta Kappa Alpha Beta sorority girl during pledge week sloppy...I am expecting an early goal by Bayern, followed by 87 minutes of scoreless soccer until Man City pulls the draw in the last ten minutes!!
