New Jersey Devils +1.5 (-190) @ NY Islanders

Basically the Islanders win a lot of games by 1 goal and the Devils lose a lot of games by 1 goal.  The Devils aren't a bad team but they haven't been winning close games lately.  The Islanders have been rolling (4-1 in their last five). I think NYI wins but I think NJ covers.

Pittsburgh (-200) @ Carolina 

This game is about the probability of Carolina beating the Penguins 2 nights in a row. If there was a line for the Canes beating the Pens 2 straight nights it would be in the ballpark of +900. Carolina doesn't match up well against most NHL teams, especially Pittsburgh.  They don't have a single player that is on the level of Crosby or Malkin.  Pens roll tonight.

Washington (+130) @ Toronto

These teams are 1 point apart in the standings. Ovi has been finding the net recently and when Ovi gets rolling he's pretty much unstoppable (in the regular season). I like the Caps on the road. 

Ottawa @ Tampa -1.5 (+140)

Stamkos.

Columbus @ Nashville -1.5 (+125)

The season just started and Columbus already wishes it was over.  To be fair, they've had a lot of guys lost to injury.  This has resulted in them becoming the punching bag of the NHL. Smashville should roll tonight.

Saint Louis (+105) @ Minnesota

This is free money.  Vegas has no respect for Saint Louis and they couldn't be more wrong. Just to note a couple Blues players that are better than every single player on the Wild- goal scoring phenom, Tarasenko & TJ Oshie - the man who took down Russia single handedly.  If you consider yourself American you'll take your boy Oshie FTW.

Dallas (+125) @ Colorado

This game is a toss up in my opinion. Both teams aren't doing well this year, why not take the line that makes more money?

Chicago (+115) @ LA

This match up is kind of ridiculous if you consider the fact that 4 of the last 5 Stanley Cups have been won by these 2 clubs.  Chi Town has the advantage when it comes to star power.  LA might have 2 cups recently but they haven't exactly been a regular season Goliath. Don't get me wrong, Cups are all at matter. But for betting purposes, Chicago all day.

Anaheim (+130) @ San Jose

Anytime the line doesn't favor the Ducks I'm rolling it.  They're the best team in the league right now. San Jose is washed up.
