NBA Finger Blast

CLE (-11) vs. MIL

Don't look now league, but LeBron has finally started trying for the Cavs! After eliminating his pre-game routine of throwing thousands of dollars of Bolivian marching powder into the air and his post game routine of trashing his teammates for not being better, the King has started to lead by example. Instead of complaining about others not passing the ball or getting back on defense, he's turned in to 2010 beast LeBron mode where he does everything on the court and flirts with a triple double nearly every night. Sure its only looked like this for a few games, but I believe they have turned the corner and will continue to look like the team we expected during the summer.

Mr Nutz's Quick Bust note: Jason Kidd DID play on that Mavs team that managed to beat LeBron in the Finals. I would imagine Bron wants to take it out on him and your Jabari as my has possible tonight.

PHX (-6) vs. INDY

The Suns have really struggled with their third (and apparently most important) guard, Isaiah Thomas, missing a few games with a bum ankle. Tonight they return home, fully rested and eager to get back to their winning ways. Lucky for them, the struggling Indiana Pacers are kind enough to pay a visit to the desert for some bball action. The Pacers are missing tons of key players and look especially ripe for the picking at the moment. Look for the Suns to make this one a joke early as the reserves get some quality PT in the second half.

Mr Nutz's nut bustin prediction: The Pacers score under 90 points this game. Their lack of scoring power and with E. Bledsoe destroying the pile of cat shit the pacers have at PG, the Pacers might throw in the towel.

NYK (+1) vs. BKN
A pick em (basically) against the Nets? I'll take that every time. Wait, its the Knicks? Shit...oh well, even a blind squirrel has to find a nut sometime right?? I will admit though it would help if we weren't trusting some of the blindest squirrels the league has to offer, that actually shoots better on the road than they do at home. At least they have started to resemble an actual NBA offense with the return of Jose Calderon who actually believes in running an offense and not just facing up and jab stepping fifty five times before jacking up a jumper that clanks off the front of the rim (lookin at you Melo and JR, and Tim Hardaway...and Amare...and Iman Shumpert). Dangerous pick here that Mr. Nutz is guaranteed to throw a snarky comment on top of, but I guess that's just what sheep do.

Mr Nutz's Early Explosion disclaimer:  Both of these teams should be charged with some sort of criminal tomfoolery for trotting out such poorly constructed rosters. Give Catz and I a big ass bottle of R&R, a pack of Kool's and an Xbox with NBA 2k15 and we'll have these rosters humming in no time!

SAC (+1) vs. TOR
Whoever made Toronto the favorite here apparently did not watch them play against the Lakers the other night in their first game post-Derozan. Of course they aren't going to go from class of the East to the Sixers with one injury, but I think people are really going to see how much of an impact Derozan had for them. Throw that in with a returning Boogie Cousins (hopefully) and you have an easy Kings win/cover...oh and Rudy Gay plays way better at home, so don't be surprised if he drops thirty.

Mr Nutz's Sticky Silliloquy:
Didn't Rudy Gay play for the Raptors? Who immediately got better when he was traded? Well it has worked out for both parties as Gay has become at least a competent player for the Kings. The Raps are sadly going to struggle without Demar, especially against the West. It's going to be up to Rudy to win this one as Jonas Valenciunasashecicick is no slouch.
