Dirty Picks Contest Day 2

Dirty Picks - The Pickoff

The staff here at Dirty Picks have decided to kick things up a notch starting today. How are we doing this?  With our first ever, possibly semi-annual, Pickoff.  Now, Pickoff’s come in all shapes and sizes (obviously), so let’s layout the rulez for this here contest:

1. Each participant will start with 20 DPD’z (Dirty Pick Dollaz)
2. One and ONLY one pick may be entered into the contest per day
3. The player may wager any amount of his/her choice.
4. There are no bailouts. (This isn’t the U.S. government) If you run out of DPD’z you are out.
5. A pick may be made on any game listed on Bovada that day.
6. The contest will begin on February 11, 2015 and conclude on February 18, 2015.
7. The winner will be decided by total earnings retained upon the end of the contest period.
8. The winner will receive a prize from each losing participant valued $10.
9. The prizes will be purchased on Amazon or something.

Day 2

Sugar: 7 DPD to win 9.10 DPD

Calgary Flames (+130) @ Los Angeles Kings
SOMEONE CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT!  THE FLAMES ARE BLAZING IN LA!

Depending on who your source is, the Flames haven’t lost a game this season.  Whether it be at home or on the road, this tenacious squad takes down opponents night after night like it ain’t nothing but a G-thang.  You could say they are “on fire”.  Tonight in LA, I expect a good game with the the wild card flames coming away with a big W and earning me nine point one zero Dirty Pick Doll-hairz.

Mr. Nutz

WIN @ NAS (OVER 5.5) 5DPDs to win  6.50 DPDs
Now I'm not the resident hockey guy here at Dirty Picks, but I know value when I see it. Sugar has been raving about this Nashtyville team all year and I know that they've nailed me out a few times. Tonight they play host to the Jets who just traded Evander Kane for a couple young guns. I expect Nashville to score at least 5 goals and let in one pity goal while they're eyeing down hot chicks in the stands.

B. Catz
CLE -3 vs CHI 3 DPD's to win 2.75 DPD's

I made the mistake last night of going against the Cavs on a line I thought was way too damn happen. Fool me once Dan Gilbert, shame on me, fool me twice? Well Catz doesn't get fooled twice, so I wouldn't know....Cavs win this one big in a statement game for the Eastern conference.
