NBA Picks

Bob's Wednesday Ménage á Trois

Today we have a particularly nasty ménage a trois of picks. We ain't talkin your Megan Fox and Kate Upton nasty either. This set is gonna be a lot closer to walking in to a gym locker room and seeing a pair of old naked men completely nude and fully outstretched (seriously why are they always nude stretching??). All three of the teams that I am picking to cover tonight are going to be on the second night of a back to back; expect to see some really shitty bball, but three covers of course.

INDY (-5) at CHAR (L)
Charlotte is in the middle of a murderers row of games right now that is proving they are not as good as some might have thought. They also have a history of allowing big time players to have career nights against them (Lebron 61, Durant 42, Melo 62). Look for Paul George to continue the trend tonight, and for Al "Black McHale" Jefferson to get shut down by Roy Hibbert harder than a chain of Blockbusters. Pacers pull their sloppiness together en route to a ten point win.
Dwight Howard Rockets
H-Town (-6.5) at ORL (WINNER!)
Houston is coming off another exhausting win over the Heat and Vegas wants you to believe this game has let down written all over it. Well don't be a square and fall for the oldest trick in the books. The Rockets will control the tempo of this game and D-12 will have a monster game to secure this win.

GS (-5.5) at BOS (WINNER!)
Another team coming off a big win in the second night of a back to back. Now usually it's tough to bet on teams in the second night of a back to back, let alone teams that are primarily shooting teams. However in this instance I feel pretty safe taking the Warriors. Steph Curry didn't have to do a whole lot last night as Klay Thompson carried the load and propelled them to victory against the Pacers. Look for Thompson to take the night off as Curry shoulders the load and easily pushes the Warriors to a 10-15 point victory.

BJ's Wet & Wild Wedne$day Pick

Atlanta at Portland (-8.5) (WINNER!)
I'm taking a risk here and trusting that Portland has gotten over some of it's nagging injuries. The Blazers are coming off an embarrassing home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in which they were favored by 12 points. Dame Lillard, LaMaracus Aldridge and co. are going to make things right tonight with a big win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Blazers are in a tight race with the streaking Clippers and Rockets for the third seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Word on the street is, Paul Millsap may be sitting this game out. So expect LA to go to work in the post against a Hawks team full of second round draft picks.
