NBA WTF is Going on Tuesday

Well, it finally happened. After months and months of phone tapping and daily visits to Dirtiestpicks.com, Vegas readjusted on the NBA. Last year (and even earlier this season) you could take points in three games a night and you were guaranteed to go 2-1. We wouldn't even check scores from the previous night because it was so much of a sure thing. Well, the jig is up. After getting absolutely slaughtered over the past six nights, we realized its not what we were doing (writing kick ass picks daily) it was want we weren't doing. We had become the Scott Brooks of sports gamblers. We were playing the same style night after night, even when the opposition had adjusted and it wasn't working anymore. So we did what the Thunder did and fired the coach, replacing him with a hilariously incompetent college coach with a big name!! Without any further ado, on to the adjustment!!

CLE -1 vs BOS
Boston is an easy pick here right?? They played the Warriors extremely well last week, and should be rested and ready to roll against a Cavs team that sims through games like they were playing My GM in 2k! Nope. Not today chief. Cavs are getting ready for their Christmas day match up with the Dubs, and you can bet LeBron will have this squad firing on all cylinders in ten days, starting with a big win tonight in Boston.

MIL -4 vs LAL
If you believe in the transitive property this is the best team in sports right?? They beat an all-time great team on Saturday and dropped the Warriors to 24-1!! So what if the Warriors were on the seventh game in a road trip and coming off a double OT win in Boston the night before, and the Bucks struggle with consistency. This is a lock. The Lakers are terrible, and Kobe isn't going to get his groove going against a team that has so much length and athleticism across the board. Oh, the Bucks are on a nine game road losing streak?? Doesn't matter. Diamond encrusted steel cage lock!!

HOU +1.5 vs SAC

Okay I couldn't help myself. You know I'm addicted to taking points, and one a night can't hurt anything right? I mean heroin addicts still get to take methadone to kick their habit right?? Lets look at it like that. This is my methadone pick of the day! And I feel really good about it, because as much as Houston is a diarrhea garbage team, Rondo is out for the Kings. Sac town isn't the same squad without Rajon, Houston wins!!

NBA week 2

MIN -4 vs POR

Fuck these ain't your daddy's Wolves. Remember that super young team everyone expected to struggle early on? This ain't that team. These Wolves were galvanized by the sudden passion of Flip Saunders and have exceeded expectations here in the early going. Tonight is the home opener, expect heavy hearts and a heavy dose of Rubio/Towns pick and rolls as they obliterate the Blazers.

NYK +7.5 vs SAS

Proceed with caution on this pick. Yeah the Knicks have looked surprisingly good this season, but they have mostly played shitty teams in the east, not the only franchise that could legit be considered a dynasty. Do I think Melo and his cast of role players have a chance in this game? Definitely. Do I think it's likely that Pop gets outcoached by D Fish? No..Oh well, take the points.

HOU +4.5 vs OKC

Houston is 0-3 on the season after collapsing against the Heat in Miami yesterday afternoon. While I don't expect this team to compete for a title at the end of the season; I do actually think they will win a game. Good bet to keep taking their points until they do actually win, even against a team like OKC.

NBA WCF

HOU  vs. GSW (-10)

This is probably the highest amount of points I've ever taken on a favorite in the long, storied history of Dirty Picks. Ironically this is also the least high I've ever been while taking such a risk. Though the idea of the Rockets being inspired by the recent tragedy that has affected the Houston area, I don't expect that inspiration to be sustainable. They could very well start this game off hot like they did in game 1 only for Steph Curry to catch fire and absolutely bury Houston. I heard a crazy stat on ESPN somewhere that Steph Curry has had almost half of his shots in this series come on uncontested looks!! Uncontested!!! Possibly the best shooter ever is getting wide open looks, that's never a good thing. Golden State wins and prepares to protect their castle against an invading King James.

NBA Draft & Conference Finals

NBA Draft Lottery

NYK +325; LAL +575

Either way here you're good. The NBA fixes the draft lottery and all of you sheep who don't believe in conspiracies better GTFO right now. What happened last year? Cavs won, LeBron went home, you mean to tell me that wasn't rigged? Buy that and I got a trunk full of original DaVinci sculptures that I'd like ya to take a look at . Seriously though anyone that thinks the NBA is going to go through another season where the two biggest markets are bottom five in talent desperately needs a wake up call. I know this ain't horse racin, but if I could I would even bet the Knicks get one, the Lakers get two and odds on favorite Minnesota gets the three hole. So good luck to both Karl Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor because after tonight you're going to either get yelled at by Kobe for a year or play in dinosaur offense with Phil Jackson and NY. Meanwhile the Wolves get Mudiay and roll out the best backcourt in the NBA in five years.

NBA Conference Finals

Houston Rockets (+10) at Golden State Warriors
This could be a terrible, terrible series. The Rockets took advantage of one of the worst coaching jobs of all time and beat the Clippers to reach the conference finals. As Oklahoma City fans and Kevin Durant continue to pretend they don't miss James Harden, the Rocks are going to be looking for any slight advantage they can find as they get destroyed by the Warriors. Steph Curry has to be ROCK HARD knowing Jason Terry and James Harden are going to try to guard him all series, oh and Pablo Prigioni. Those poor dudes have no chance. Nevertheless, the Rockets might be able to keep this one close. Harden will need to cause some foul issues for the Rockets, but if the Warriors' bench plays half as well as they are capable of, Houston is fucked.
Harden shoot

Catz: New series....Same old Catz. After closely examining these two teams, I've come to the conclusion that should be a relatively easily win for the Dubs in four or five games tops. So why the hell would I back the losing team? Because the Rockets have been hearing all week that no one is giving them a shot against the Warriors. Look for a spirited Harden effort to fall just short as the Splash bros make their way towards their first NBA finals appearance.

NBA Playoffs Round One

LAC (+5) vs SAS
Definitely not ready to spot the Spurs five, when the only difference in the last game was Blake Griffin turning the ball over up two with eight seconds left. It was ugly sure, but it doesn't tell the story of this series. Spurs are way too banged up to be able to handle a pissed off Clippers team.

HOU vs DAL (+2)

We always have to go with the picks that seem a little too good to be true, and this is definitely one of those lines. Houston has dominated every facet of this series so it was pretty shocking to see H town only favored by 2 here right? Then we realized that Rondo has been sidelined for the rest of the series, remember how good the Mavs were for the first six weeks of the season before him? Look for that team to show up tonight.

TOR vs WAS (-5)
I don't care if they moved this line all the way down to double digitz, I would still take it. The raptors have been exposed on both ends of the court, and today I read an article about how the GM expects big changes after the season. Never good when those articles come out while the team is actually still playing games! If you want to call what Toronto has done in this series playing that is. J Wall and Co roll in chocolate city.

NBA Picks

Another day, another three team winners in the NBA. All three are underdogs according to the spread, and road teams. If you really want to rake in some extra cash, throw these three in a parlay and enjoy.

DAL (+6.5) at SA (OVER 198) (WINNER!) (WINNER!)
This series has been way too close to justify opening up at -7. Each game has come down to the final two minutes, and although you know the Spurs will come out huge tonight, I expect the Mavs to roll with the punches.

BJ: Last time I made a smart ass comment about these guys always going over and how Vegas didn't know what it was doing. Well I lost that one, but this one is rolling over.

BKN (+3) at TOR (UNDER 190)  (WINNER!) (L)
This one hurts to even pick. I watched the Raptors play early in the season and they were arguably the lease cohesive team I saw all year. Then they traded Gay and become a legit force in the Eastern conference. But picking against the Nets is not a fun game for me. The Nets are like that really annoying Godzilla trailer, sure it was great early on, but at this point it's so overplayed that I cringe whenever I hear the horns signaling his arrival.

BJ: This will be a knock down, grimy, old school type of game. Glad to see Catz took the points because this one will be close.

POR (+5) at HOU (OVER 214.5) (L) (L)
The Blazers have completely outplayed the Rockets in this series. Although most of the games have been very close, the Blazers are the better team and might very well finish this series tonight. Look for LMA to hit 34 midrange jumpers and Lillard to go on at least two 7-0 runs by himself. Blazers end the Rockets season tonight in H-town.

BJ: I shouldn't have to say anything about this.

NBA Playoff Picks

It it time for the Catz, to venture back in to the deep end of the swimming pool. Lately I have been relying on the advice of others when I was making my picks and then blaming them when things went horribly, horribly wrong (see last night game 3 Hawks vs. Pacers). So today, I shut my phone off, deactivated my facebook, and flipped off my neighbors, because this is solo Catz pick time!

CHI at WAS (-2.5) over 181 (L) (WINNER!)
Joakim Noah Bulls
The Wizards have absolutely outplayed the Bulls in this series, and Nene is actually making the DPOY Noah look like an average defender at times. Meanwhile in the backcourt, John Wall and Bradley Beal are consistently getting in the paint, while the Bulls are relying on DJ Augustine to do the heavy lifting. I think the Wizards look to put their foot on the throats of the Bulls tonight as a fired up Wiz team scores some points and gets the win.

TOR at BKN (-4.5) under 191 (L) (L)
This one is a classic Nets bounce back game. This is an old team and it is hard for them to get two wins in a row, but two wins in three games? Very doable. Couple that with the fact that they are returning home after splitting the first two games in Toronto, and you have a recipe for a big Nets win. I think this one plays out as a defensive struggle, with each team taking their punches and the Nets pulling away late in the fourth.

HOU at POR (-2) (UNDER 215) (L) (L)
Well first off I don't appreciate Catz firing shots at me in some backhanded way when I called the only two wins we had last night. But that's cake mix through the escalator at this point. Earlier this week I predicted Portland would win this series in 7 games. In no way did I see PDX stealing 2 in Houston and dominating the shit out of the Rockets with mid range jumpers. Tonight, the Houston Fragile Psyche's have to play in front of one of the wildest crowds in the NBA. I expect a lot of fatigue on both sides, so this one is going to come down to Damian Lillard and Nic Batum carrying the Blazers. Last note: Dwight Howard is coming off one of the best games of his career and Houston still lost....

NBA Playoff Picks

NBA Rebound Picks

CHAR at Miami (-10) (OVER 187.5) (L) (WINNER!)
The Heat are going to make sure they win this one at home and let's not forget, Al Jefferson is battling a foot injury that is going to slow him down a bit. Look for LeBron to get his teammates going early to boost their confidence as Miami blows the Cats out, unfortunately, 106-88.

DAL (+8) at SA (OVER 200.5) (WINNER!)(WINNER!)
After Catz and I talked about this one, we think that Duncan's slight knee injury may slow down the Spurs machine just enough for the Mavs to hang around. Let's not forget, the Mavs hung around all game in the opener and Dirk and Carlisle aren't going to be blown out in a playoff game. High scoring, fun and close game today.

POR (+7) at HOU  (OVER 214.5) (WINNER!) (WINNER!)
Lamarcus AldridgeAgain, Catz and I talked through this one and we felt that, with exception to the Spurs, no Western Conference teams are 7 points apart. Portland is underrated and the Rockets really struggle with LaMarcus Aldridge down low. If Dwight is unhealthy, the Blazers are going to take this thing to 7. Look for a high scoring game with the Rockets winning late.

NBA Saturday!

It happens to the best of us. One night, you're cruising a long with everything figured out. You're thinking you have a couple big balls you can rely on when logic just doesn't make sense, and BAM! You go 3 for 13 picking NBA games in one night. Yeah, ol Catz struggled to get anything going last night and has demoted himself to the AFL. No worries, after taking a few days off from MLB picks, I am going to fill in until the metaphorical Catz can get back on his metaphorical horse, metaphorically speaking. Go easy on ol BJ though, I haven't been in the NBA game for a while, so things are bound to get a little sloppy. As the old African Proverb says: "A sloppy BJ, is better than a broken and disheartened Bobcat."

Sacramento at Los Angeles Clippers (-11) (WINNER!)
Way too many points right? Yeah that's what I was thinking, especially since the Kings have played the Clippers so well this season! In 3 matchups, the margin has been 6 or less! So, as gamblers, do we roll with the "They always play the Clippers close" narrative or the "LA needs to win to stay in contention for the 2 seed" narrative? It's not a choice many are brave enough to make. I'm going LAC because Isaiah Thomas is injured, as is Rudy Gay (which really might be a plus for SacTown). CP3, Blake and Demarcus Cousins' frustration should be enough to get a massive win for the Clips.

Philadelphia at Charlotte (-12) (L)
I'm doing this one for Mr. Catz himself, because I know he would be looking at scores tonight saying, "Damn, I would've totally picked the Bobcats." Let's not forget my affinity for the Cats and the Raps this year, which have both been very fun to pick. Charlotte had a 5 game winning streak snapped by Boston, a game which I am going to look past because the Cats probably weren't expecting the Celtics to show up. I mean, why Celtics? Why are you trying to beat playoff teams?! Do you want to be stuck with Doug McDermott or Gary Harris in the draft? Not bad players, but not franchise changers. Anyways, the Cats are playing some good ball and Al Jefferson should hit for 30-10 tonight. That's a guarantee.

Milwaukee at Washington (-10.5) (WINNER!)
Wow, I swear this is the last huge spread I am throwing out. I can tell right now, these are all going to be stupid close at the end. Oh well, the Bucks are so bad, my God. I mean, they had some talent at the beginning of the year and somehow everyone sucked! Then you had Nat Wolters running things and, I don't know. If you combined the Bucks and the 76ers, they might be a competitive squad with 4 recognizable players. At this point, the Wiz are completely healthy and trying to fend off the Bobcats. The Bucks? Ersan Ilyasova, OUT; OJ Mayo, OUT; Larry Sanders, OUT; Carlos Delfino, OUT; Hell, NATE WOLTERS, OUT!!! The Bucks should lose by 25!!!

Miami at Atlanta (+5) (WINNER!)
Paul MillsapI love the Hawks here. As a franchise, they are building towards a solid basketball culture. The Heat struggle with Paul Millsap for some reason and they are coming off a physical game against the Indiana Implosion  Pacers. I like the Hawks at home.

Boston (+9) at Cleveland (WINNER!)
The Cavaliers should never be GIVING points. They are a disgusting basketball team and a cancer to the city of Cleveland and the league as a whole! Rondo will have a triple double tonight.

New Orleans at Houston (-14.5) (L)
Another steep line, so I apologize, but the Pelicañeros are done. They shut down Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday is out for the year, Ryan Anderson is out for the year, Eric Gordon is having arthroscopic surgery AGAIN, and they can't make the playoffs. Even a D12less Rockets team should win by 45.

Phoenix (+4.5) at Dallas (WINNER!)
I know this is the wrong pick, you don't have to tell me twice. But before you slam my man parts in the door, think about this: How many times have you counted the Suns out this year, or said "no way" when they were playing a game they were supposed to lose?....Don't bet against the Suns! Especially when they are battling a team for a damn playoff spot!

Utah (+9.5) at Denver (WINNER!)
This is my bold, frost brewed (THIS SPONSORSHIP SPOT COULD BE YOURS) pick of the day. No one is picking Utah, including sharps. Well, fuck everybody. You're not telling me that a team led by Timmy Mozgov is going to dominate another Western Conference opponent. The Jazz should be much better. With Trey Burke, Alec Burcs, Derek Favors-Birk, Gordon Burkeley Hayward and Enis "BURRR so Icy"Kanter, the Jazz are suiting up a better team tonight. No Lawson, Chandler, McGee, Gallo or smart coach? Go Utah tonight.

Catz Country Picks

HOU (+3) at BKN (L)
Betting against the Nets this season has been like smoking cigarettes when you get drunk. You know it's a bad idea, you are definitely going to regret it in the morning and you probably end up feeling like shit. However in this case it's like I smoke a whole carton in one setting. I can not remember the last time I went against the Nets and the opposing team successfully covered, but you think that stops Uncle Catz from throwing down a five spot on the Rockets? Hell no! The Rockets may get D12 back tonight, but even if they don't look for them to end the reign of terror that the Nets have bestowed upon this gambling season. I'm expecting big games from James Harden, Terrence Jones and Chandler Parsons as they roll into Brooklyn and leave with a twenty point victory.

GS (+4) at DAL (WINNER!)
Another pick that on the surface looks like it is going to go terribly wrong. Let's look a little closer at this matchup though and you will see my reasoning. First off the Warriors are coming off their worst loss of the season...to the Knicks...at home!! If you don't think that forces a team to take a long hard look in the mirror and figure it the fuck out than nothing will. Also the Warriors next game is against the Spurs who are riding an 18 game winning streak and look as poised as ever to be holding the trophy come June. I know the Mavs are balls deep in a tight playoff race, but I still think Golden State comes out strong has a fantastic night shooting the rock and steals a win in big D.

LAL (+8.5) at POR (L)
The Lakers have been a very streaky team over the last couple of weeks. Some nights they blow out the Suns or the Knicks, on others they give up over 140 points to the Clippers or Wolves. Add the fact that Lamarcula (copyright:BJ) may miss this game and I think the lack of defense on the Portland end should keep this one competitive enough to hit the 8.5 point cover.

There you go three picks that are possibly the most dangerous combination of three things since Hitler/Stalin/ and Mussolini joined forces! Look for these picks to go horribly wrong tonight and for me to write a scathing, self-loathing article tomorrow about how gambling sucks and fuck the Warriors/Rockets/Lakers.

NBA Picks

Tuesdays Tenacious Tsunami Throwdown

Today's games were harder to pick than the struggle of acting like you are interested in engaging in casual coworker office conversation. Nevertheless sometimes you just have to grip it and rip it.

DAL at GS (-5) (WINNER!)
Steph Curry has been hobbled with a quad injury as of late, but the Warriors continue to roll anyway. Tonight they welcome in the Dallas Mavs who feature the second most dangerous man in German history. Betting against Dirk always makes me pee my pants a little bit, but the Warriors have been playing too well of late to ignore this cover. Look for the Warriors to shoot the lights and out and defend the shit out of the two headed Dirk/Monta Ellis combo, leading to an easy 15 point win.

MIL (+14.5) at MIN (WINNER!)
This game is like one of those jumpers that JR smith shoots after he scores a couple of buckets. Right when it leaves his hand you go "what the fuck" only for him to drain it and you act like you knew it was going in the whole time. The Bucks are not what you would call a good basketball team, but the Wolves aren't exactly the 2002 Red Wings either (Sugar shout out!!!). Look for this game to be tightly contested throughout with the Wolves making little runs, but never being completely able to blow the Bucks out. Wolves win by 7-10 and the Bucks get the cover.

HOU at OKC (UNDER 217) (WINNER!)
My record with picking over/ unders correctly isn't exactly what you would call "great"; but if you think that's gonna stop me from picking this game, then you don't know the Bobcat. Every once in a while you have to take some risks, like when you see that the expiration date on your milk was three days ago, but you say fuck it and drink that shit.Tonight's game is going to have a playoff like atmosphere to it. Usually in the playoffs teams focus extra hard on the defensive end and it leads to some pretty close low scoring games. That is exactly what is gonna happen tonight. Look for the Thunder to control this game from the tip and for the combined score to land somewhere in low 200's.

BJ's Fat Over/Unders

POR at MEM (UNDER 196.5) (L)
These teams usually play pretty close to this line and have recently finished right above it. Memphis is coming in well rested, and nobody in the NBA is better at making teams play their style than the Grizz. Marc Gasol & co. will try to make it hard on LaMarcus Alrdidge down low, while Mike Conley and Tony Allen will wear down Damian Lillard. It's going to take solid ball movement to beat the Grizz and on the other end, prepare for long, slow possessions. This one is risky, but this will be a playoff style slugfest. Look for 93-91 as the final.

BOS at IND (OVER 192.5) (L)
Another risky one! The Pacers are in a slump and need to snap out of it, fast. The Celtics meanwhile are still coasting along, allowing just about anybody to put up 100+ points on them. Rondo should help their offense flow a little better, but against an hostile, desperate Pacer team, don't expect too much. This should be Indian 103-Boston 91, so take the over and let's see if the Pacers can round into playoff form.

NBA Picks

Bob's Wednesday Ménage á Trois

Today we have a particularly nasty ménage a trois of picks. We ain't talkin your Megan Fox and Kate Upton nasty either. This set is gonna be a lot closer to walking in to a gym locker room and seeing a pair of old naked men completely nude and fully outstretched (seriously why are they always nude stretching??). All three of the teams that I am picking to cover tonight are going to be on the second night of a back to back; expect to see some really shitty bball, but three covers of course.

INDY (-5) at CHAR (L)
Charlotte is in the middle of a murderers row of games right now that is proving they are not as good as some might have thought. They also have a history of allowing big time players to have career nights against them (Lebron 61, Durant 42, Melo 62). Look for Paul George to continue the trend tonight, and for Al "Black McHale" Jefferson to get shut down by Roy Hibbert harder than a chain of Blockbusters. Pacers pull their sloppiness together en route to a ten point win.
Dwight Howard Rockets
H-Town (-6.5) at ORL (WINNER!)
Houston is coming off another exhausting win over the Heat and Vegas wants you to believe this game has let down written all over it. Well don't be a square and fall for the oldest trick in the books. The Rockets will control the tempo of this game and D-12 will have a monster game to secure this win.

GS (-5.5) at BOS (WINNER!)
Another team coming off a big win in the second night of a back to back. Now usually it's tough to bet on teams in the second night of a back to back, let alone teams that are primarily shooting teams. However in this instance I feel pretty safe taking the Warriors. Steph Curry didn't have to do a whole lot last night as Klay Thompson carried the load and propelled them to victory against the Pacers. Look for Thompson to take the night off as Curry shoulders the load and easily pushes the Warriors to a 10-15 point victory.

BJ's Wet & Wild Wedne$day Pick

Atlanta at Portland (-8.5) (WINNER!)
I'm taking a risk here and trusting that Portland has gotten over some of it's nagging injuries. The Blazers are coming off an embarrassing home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in which they were favored by 12 points. Dame Lillard, LaMaracus Aldridge and co. are going to make things right tonight with a big win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Blazers are in a tight race with the streaking Clippers and Rockets for the third seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Word on the street is, Paul Millsap may be sitting this game out. So expect LA to go to work in the post against a Hawks team full of second round draft picks.

Tongue Tornado Tuesday: Pt. 2

NBA Picks

Bobcat aka Tongue Tornado aka Picky Bobby aka Harold is back. After last nights debacle I decided to double up on the picks tonight to win that money back.

GS at INDY over 196.5  (L)
This one might seem a little bit counterintuitive given that both teams are known for their defense. However, we are looking at two well rested teams that have the capability to put the ball in the basket. Look for this one to turn into a shootout between Paul George and Steph Curry that pushes this into the low hundreds and definitely over 196.5.

HOU at MIA over 211 (L)
I know what you are thinking, but bobcat that's a lot of points! Well you know what fuck you, don't you dare speak to Captain Tongue Tornado like that. Lebron had 61 by himself last night! Even though I don't expect him to get anywhere close to that, I expect a full blown shoot out in this one that pushes it well over 211. Also this one has the potential to go into overtime because both teams are fairly close in terms of talent. Look for big nights from Harden, Lebron, and D-12 as this one goes well into the hundreds.

Tony parkerCLE at SA (-7.5) (WINNER!)
The Spurs continue their homestand tonight with a visit from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although the Cavs did score an upset the other night against the Thunder, do not fool yourself into thinking they are an elite team. The Spurs on the other hand are a great basketball team that consistently wins games that they are expected to. Look for Tony Parker to not only bang one of his teammates wives, but have a big game also.

Clippers (-4.5) at Suns (WINNER!)
Lob city rolls into Phoenix  to take on the Suns. Although my editor believes that Phoenix wins this game by seven, Picky Bobby vehemently disagrees. Seeing as I'm the one that has season tickets and has been to over 20 games already this year, I should know. The Suns struggle against the elite teams and really struggle defending against the low post. Dwight Howard had his way against the Suns front line, and you can expect the same from Blake and Deandre. The Suns will keep themselves in this game by jacking up triples and Dragic doing dragon things, but expect the Clippers to pull away late and win by 5-10.

BJ's Nasty Pick of the Day

Philly @ OKC (-21) (WINNER!)
This line is ridiculous. 21 point is an insult to the pride of any NBA franchise, and even the league as a whole. A lot of people have a problem with what Philly is doing with their roster. The fact is, they're going to be combining a Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins or sure fire bust, Joel Embiid with Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams-Douglas-Johnston next year. In the meantime, they are going to keep trotting out D-League players and getting blown out. Tonight will definitely be a blow out. Not only that, but I do believe LeBron James scored 61 last night. Kevin Durant HATES being second and is a very competitive person. Throughout the years, Durant has finished runner up in the MVP voting, lost in the finals and lost in the All-Star game to LeBron. Expect KD to go OFF tonight to the tune of 69 points on the lowly 76ers. Enjoy the show!

NBA Picks

Last Night: 4-1-1

BJ's Wet & Wild Wednesday Winner!

GS (-3.5) @ CHI (L)
Last night we were very successful! We look to continue our NBA hot streak with a bundle of NBA picks. Let's start it off with the Golden State Warriors coming out of Chicago with a win. Usually, betting against a depleted Bulls team is a bad idea. Tonight, the Warriors are going up against a Chicago squad that had to play 48 tough minutes against Atlanta. Look for a tired Bulls squad to slow down near the fourth quarter as the Splash Brothers lead GS to a victory.

Filthy Pickz Sugar probably shouldn't let his mom read

By Bobby Catz

Hou at LAC (-5.5) (W)
Houston had a great night against Sacramento less than 24 hours ago. Harden scored 46 and barely played in the fourth. However, these clippers are a horse of a different color. CPthrizzle has integrated back into the lineup seamlessly and Blake Griffin looks more and more like the mailman every day. The Clippers are getting contributions across the board and will even get a boost from newly acquired Glen "the biggest baby" Davis. The Rockets played last night like they expected to lose today, so give the five and half points and watch the Clippers cruise.

GS at CHI over 186.5 (L)
Historically I am not great at calling over/unders. You might say my ability to choose correctly is on par with American hockey teams looking to get wins over the Canadians, not good. However, lately, I've been feeling myself a little bit (seriously, ask my editor) [EDITORS NOTE: confirmed, he is feeling himself] even though this game is between two defensive powerhouses; look for the dubs to score about 115. That means if the Bulls can get to just 75 points we have a winner here! Doesn't that make you feel better? Joakim, Dunleavy, DJ Augustin, and Carlos Boozer can score 75 right? Right? Fuck....

NO at DAL (-7) (W)
The Pelicans were supposed to be an offensive juggernaut this season, but somehow have gone the other way. They can't find scoring from anyone but Anthony Davis, and the biggest shocker Eric Gordon is injured again! Seriously Eric Gordon takes more days off than Raymond Felton's nutrition coach! Look for Dirk Nasty and the boys to roll early and often in this one.

B--B-BONUS PICK!!!
ATL (+3) at BOS (L)
Last night, Atlanta kept it close with a Bulls team that they had no business competing against. Good news for the Hawks, the Celtics are not the Bulls. Atlanta has a mean three guard rotation in Jeff Teague, Louis Williams, and Shelvin Mack. Couple that with the outside shooting of Kyle Korver and you got yourself a dangerous team to give three points to. The Hawks bounce back here and get the big W against the Celtics.

Tuesday Tongue Tornado Pickz

NBA Picks by Bobby Catz

Pacers at LakersLAL at IND (-13) (WINNER!)
It's been a while since Paul George had a break out game. Well tonight is that night. The lakers lack anything resembling a defensive perimeter player and last I checked weren't great on the interior either. Look for the pacers to play suffocating D and for PG to go off for forty.

MIN at PHX (-3) (L)
The Suns, fresh off a heartbreaking loss to the rockets, always rebound well, especially at home. Combine that with  the fact that NBA teams have realized that the Wolves only do one thing well, which is get the ball to Kevin Love. Do you think Love has a calendar that just marks off the days till he can get the fuck out of 'Sota? It's gonna be a long year and half. Also watch Goran Dragic, he's having a fantastic season.

POR (-3) at DEN (WINNER!)
Yes I'm aware that LMFAO (Lamarcus Mother Fuckin Alridge is Outstanding) is out tonight, but I have inside information from a guy at the last blazers game that said his fill-in, Thomas Robinson, is a star in the making. In addition coach Brian Shaw  and the nuggets aren't getting along that well lately. Look for this deep rift to continue and the nuggets to lose by 15 even to a LMFAO-less blazers team.

HOU (-4) at SAC (WINNER!)
Houston looks to continue it's road trip out west with another victory. Even though the Kings have looked better in recent weeks, they still have no help besides Cousins, Gay, and Thomas. Look for Houston to nail upwards of 15 triples and this one to be over somewhere in the second quarter.

B B B BONUS PICK!!!!!!

CHI (-1.5) at ATL (WINNER!)
Easy bonus pick here, a depleted Hawks team runs up against the defensive juggernaut Bulls. This one could get ugly for the Hawks, unless Korver hits 15 3's this could easily end up being 95-36.
