AFL Picks

Well the Catz decided to stick a few toes in to test the baseball waters last night and let's just say it did not go well.

So tonight I turn my attention back to the AFL where last week I had quite the success.

SA at NO over 91.5 (WINNER!)
These teams have met three times since 2012 and have averaged 100 points between them. Both teams are near the bottom of the barrel this year and I don't see any reason this will be any different. Plus SA came through for me last week so I'm rolling with them again, Talons for the win and the over!

POR (+20.5) at SAN JOSE  (WINNER!)
Whewwww boy this is a ballsy pick. Portland is an expansion team who haven't won a game all season. Last week though I picked them to get destroyed by Spokane and they were actually in it until the fourth quarter against a very solid Shock team. I know they have blowout potential here, but San Jose doesn't have the offensive firepower of the Spokane team. Although I fully expect the Sabercats to win, Portland keeps it close and gets the cover!
