After not being able to follow up our undefeated night with an equally impressive night, the boys from Dirty Picks are dusting our shoulders off and getting back on the proverbial wagon. Tonight features a pair of elimination games in which the teams on the verge of going home are both favored. After a long battle of vacillating on which team I thought was going to take it, I have finally come to a consensus.
IND at WAS (-4.5) (UNDER 181) (L)(WINNER!)
Catz: This has the potential to be an absolutely brutal game. Are we going to get the Pacers of game 2 and 3 or the one that no-showed in game 4? Which Wizards team is going to come play? The team from game 1 and 5?? Or the one that scored 60 some odd points! You will know whether or not this is a good bet within the first five minutes of the game. If the Wizards come out and John Wall plays like he did in the last game where he looked absolutely fearless and Gortat played like a 1962 version of Bill Russell this game is definitely going to a game seven. If not this series is over and I am going to be heated that we have to watch the Heat roll to a four game sweep in the next round against the Pacers.
OKC at LAC (-4.5) (over 213) (L) (L)
Last night was almost as much of a joke as Tuesday night's Clippers fiasco. One one hand I was happy because I called the Kevin Durant not having big enough balls to dominate the game. On the other hand, CP3 made two crucial errors at the end of the game which directly went against my inference that he is a 4th quarter God. Unlike Durant, CP3 is going to step up after he and his squad blew it. Look for a nice, efficient double-double from the Point God and a Herculean rebounding effort from Deandre Jordan as the Clips angrily blow out the Thunder.
