SUMMER LEAGUE

HOUSTON (+6) vs. LAC

I am almost positive this line is a mistake and Vegas actually meant LAC (+6), but this is the way they have it listed, so do yourself a favor and throw a bunch of money down on this. The Rockets have at least 27 guys on their summer league team and players that actually might have a shot at NBA careers. The Clippers? They have Delonte West attempting to make a comeback. Do yourself and your savings account a favor and take the Rockets. Also this might be the only thing the Rockets win this summer (take that Morey!!).

MIAMI (+3) vs. WIZARDS

Another summer league line where I think Vegas is just trolling bettors. The Wizards have a garbage lineup, including last years inevitable bust Otto Porter. If this team beats a Shabazz led Heat team I will personally call Ernie Grunfeld (owner of the Wizards) and apologize before purchasing season tickets. Heat should roll in this one, but it is summer league so tread lightly out there.

PHX (+1.5) vs. 76ers

The Suns are rolling out a summer league lineup that is essentially their rotation players from last season. Even Miles Plumlee is getting some burn after starting most of last season at center. That and a talented supporting cast of rookies makes this team very formidable. Also nothing good has every come out of Phildelphia, and yes that includes the Rocky movies.
