Well folks, it's that magical time of year once again. The waining moments of baseball are upon us as we wait in anticipation for the NHL season to kick off. My early picks for the Cup will be later this week so be sure to check the site soon. Back to bazeball! The Oakland A's were a force to be reckoned with half way through this season. Their pitchers were carving batters up and their bats were on point. Kansas City at that time was struggling. Flip the page to today and you see a different story. That Oakland team dropped off worse than the Detroit Lions after Barry Sanders retired; meanwhile those Royals down in KC made a legitimate push to dethrone the Tigers as division champs. Which brings us to tonight, a one game, winner takes all, playoff in Kansas City. The Royals haven't had a playoff game in like seven hundred years. I expect that place to be popping off like vegas when Johnny Fuckin Football comes town. Royals continue to roll and take down the A's tonight. Oakland will spend all summer justifying what the hell happened to them this year.
