NHL Lockdown

NHL Top Shelf Tuesday LOCKZ

San Jose @ Washington
I like the Caps at home here.  They laid a beat down on the Bruins the other day after losing in a shoot out to Montreal.  The Sharks come into DC with 2 wins under their belt and no losses.  They beat up on the Kings and walked through the Jets.  To date, the Sharks have not given up a goal yet this season.  I'm confident that will change tonight.  Watch for Ovi to get the offense going in Washington and for the Caps to roll on a good Sharks squad.
Pick: Washington (EVEN)

NY Islanders @ NY Rangers
The first showdown for NYC is tonight.  The Islanders have a couple wins under their belt (2-0-0) but don't get ahead of yourself. They beat up on a weak Carolina team.  Tonight they take on the defending Eastern Conference champs as an away team.  The Rangers are 1-2-0 through 3 games and I don't expect them too fall to 1-3 tonight.  It's no secret who the better New York team is and has been the past decade or so; I expect them to prove it tonight.
Pick: Rangers (-130)

Anaheim @ Philadelphia
Easy pickings right here.  The Ducks were the leagues highest scoring offense last season.  The Flyers are good for a couple goals typically.  This game should definitely go over.
Pick: OVER 5.5 (-115)

Colorado @ Toronto
The Avs didn't score a goal in their first 2 games.  In their third game they managed to light the lamp twice against Boston.  I get the feeling Colorado is primed for an offensive onslaught tonight in Toronto.  They have too many weapons up front to only have 2 goals through 3 games.  Colorado rolls on the road tonight.
Pick: Colorado (EVEN)

Tuesday Night Absolute LOCK

NJ Devils @ Tampa Bay Lightning
Stamkos recorded his 8th career hat trick last night.  NHL goalies better watch out because the Catz out of the bag, the dragon's out of the den, the snake has left his cage, Elvis is IN the building.  I think Stamkos goes off for another two goals tonight in a match up with a weak Devils team.  Look for Filppula and Johnson to contribute upfront as well as the Bolts roll at home.

Pick: Tampa Bay -1.5 (+240)
