BJ & Sugar's Practically Cheating NHL Locks

Calgary Flames at Chicago Blackhawks (-1.5) (OVER 5.5)
Is this some type of sick joke? Calgary just came off a shootout victory in Nashville, now they have to go to Chicago and get obliterated! Patty Kane smells fresh meat, and you can bet your new iPhone 6 that the Hawks are going to slap 5 on the board today. In fact, I fully expect the Hawks to win their next 10 games as they look to shake off last year's playoff tomfoolery and prove that they can be the next great dynasty in the NHL. As far as Calgary goes, just think Jennifer Love-Hewitt, AVERAGE. I mean, yeah you'd hit on her at a party, but only after you're a little drunk and your buddy swooped the only actual hot girl there. The Flamers are nothing special, add to their fatigue from last night and you've got blowout in the making.

Boston Bruins at Detroit Red Wings (UNDER 5)
Let's face it, the Bruins are PROBABLY the smart play here, but Sugar is not going to allow that on this blog. In all honesty, this game is going to be close and low scoring, so as a free suggestion, go with DET +1.5 and the under tonight if you want to win a little side bitch money. Boston easily dispatched Detroit in the playoffs, we're all aware of that, but the regular season is a different story. Because despite the thrashing they took in the playoffs, the perennially underwhelming Wings (kidding) took 3 of 4 from the Bruins in the regular season last year. Hell, they just beat them 2-1 last week to make it 8 of the last 9 regular season games! Unfortunately the Bruskis are on a 3 game slide and pretty much have to win this one. Expect Tuukka Rask to play the most flawless game in goal that anyone has ever seen while Jimmy Howard continues to be the reason the Wings can't win the Cup. 3-0 Bruins. Hmm.....that parlay doesn't make sense now....

Edmonton Oilers (+1.5) @ Arizona Yotes (OVER 5.5)
The Oilers head to the desert tonight to take on the Yotes.  Both teams have been giving up goals like it's going out of style.  The Oilers have a solid offense since they've gotten the majority of the last 5 first overall picks in the draft.  I think the game is a toss up but it should go over and I don't think anyone wins by more than 1 goal.
