After going 3-0 last night on spreads that made no sense whatsoever and were all underdogs, we are going to reverse course and take only the most logical spreads and favorites on the board tonight.
OKC vs. Toronto (-11.5)
I read an article this morning that was titled "Why Perry Jones could save the Thunder's season". Tell you what Yahoo, you back Perry Jones and I am going to back the Raptors blowing OKC out for the second straight night. This one will probably be closer than the Brooklyn fiasco last night, but not much closer.
PHX (-7) vs. LAL
I took the Suns last week on a relatively low spread and they backdoor banged me by losing to the Jazz on the road. Well tonight they head out to LA to play the team formerly known as the Lakers in what should be a blowout. This is a team that has coach who doesn't believe in shooting 3 pointers!! The Suns are going to teach Ol' Byron a thing or two about knocking down triples as they hit 12-15 three's as a team and blow out the Lakers again on their home court.
CHICAGO (-12) vs. ORLANDO
I hate this line!! Chicago rarely blows anyone out, but this one is just so hard to stay away from. Thibs is going to pack the paint with Joakim and Pau and force the Magic to shoot outside jumpers as they damn well please, and you know what the Magic can't do at all? Shoot outside jumpers. This one could get out of hand quickly, I'm expecting a bunch of three's from the Chi town bench as this one ends in a blowout.
NHL LOCKZ - VOTING DAY EDITION
Calgary (+130) @ Washington
Chicago (-125) @ Montreal
Detroit (-130) @ Ottawa
Los Angeles @ Dallas (-120)
Edmonton +1.5 (-200) @ Philadelphia
Carolina (+115) @ Columbus
Saint Louis (-105) @ New Jersey
Toronto (-105) @ Arizona
It's a special day here in the greatest country on earth. Today's the day we have the opportunity to exercise our constitutional right to vote. No, we aren't electing a president this year but, believe it or not these in between elections are in some ways more important. Is anything in your daily life impacted by who is in the White House? With the lone exception being the Affordable Care Act, the answer is no. The people in congress and senate, in particularly at the state level, can have a much bigger impact on your daily life. Even your local city officials have a bigger impact on your life than the president. Do you know what else can drastically impact your life?
THESE HOCKEY LOCKZ IM TOSSIN' OUT FOR YOU!
That's right. I'm coming at the Dirty Picks nation with 9 stone cold hockey Lockz today. Who doesn't like free money? Throw these picks into a 9 game parlay and put $5 down on it and watch as you win a nice $1,687. Let me say that again, $5 will win you $1,687. Here's the deal with the match ups tonight:
Calgary's rolling, Chicago is playing a Montreal team that has scored 6 goals total in the past 5 games, the Wings have won 4 straight in Ottawa by a combined score of 10-3 and Datsyuk has 5 goals in the last 4 games, Dallas is playing LA at home and LA has not won a single game on the road this year, Edmonton's 3-2 in their last 5 and so is Philly but Edmonton has beaten better teams, Carolina is playing Columbus who has lost 5 straight and is missing 6 guys, STL has won 5 straight, Toronto is 4-1 in the last 5 and they play Zona who's 2-3 with their 2 wins coming against Florida and the Caps (who are on a 4 game losing streak and have given up 18 goals in that span), and Nashville still only has 2 regulation losses and they play Winnipeg who has only scored 1 goal in their last 2 games.
