NBA picks

On the verge of the new year, same old winning picks.

SAS (+2) VS. MEM
I really think that Memphis is going to win this game, but I have to go with the trend. San Antonio dominates the Grizz like you wouldn't believe, especially in Memphis for some reason. It doesn't matter who's sitting out for the Spurs, they are still a matchup nightmare for Grindhouse and they should be able to cover this line tonight.

BKN (+10) vs. CHI
This is one of those classic Vegas trap games. They know the Bulls are a much better team and are definitely going to win this game, but they want you to bank on a Thibs team blowing someone out, which just doesn't happen. Throw in the fact that this Brooklyn team has been a little scrappy lately (4-1 in the last 5) and you have a perfect recipe for a cover. Take the points and hope that KG has a few tricks up his sleeve for his former assistant to cover this line.

WAS (+5.5) vs. DAL
The Wizards are so hot right now!! This team is playing good quality team basketball, John Wall and Bradley Beal have been playing like they have a chip on their shoulder all season, and they look poised to challenge for the Eastern conference title. I'm gonna keep riding a good team, especially since Dallas is still trying to figure things out post-Rondo trade.

CAVS (+3) vs. ATL
One of those classic lines that you are stupid if you don't take. I don't care how shitty the Cavs looked in their last game, or how all of the reports are saying no one trusts the first year head coach who has no experience on an NBA sideline (shocker!). You always take the points with a team this talented, even if it doesn't hit every single time I will continue to take it. All it takes is one Kyrie quarter where he drops 22 and bam you got yourself a nice little Cavs cover.
