NBA NUTZ

Well I was too lazy at work today to scour some lines and determine which ones were going to be my key to an early retirement, so I did a little bit of crowd sourcing. And by crowd sourcing I mean I spoke with my editor Mr. Nutz and he threw a couple of locks at me but refused to write them up or do anything that would cause him to come down from his ivory tower of CEOness. So I guess its up to Catz to list the picks and determine why he chose them.

PHI (+4.5) vs. MIN

Nutz proclaimed that the Sixers are a much better team here!! Apparently they are starting notable future bust Zach La "Vine" at point guard, and MCW is significantly better. Hate betting on a such a shit team, but I guess when the alternative is a big ole bag of shit, that little bag doesn't look nearly as bad.

POR vs. ATL (-6.5)

This one was a shocker!!! Nutz loves Portland!! He is literally the most Portland person I can think of with his sack full of granola, birkenstocks and constant dazed and confused glances. Yet for some reason he's definitely down with the A. Sure they are playing out of their minds, and have been all season, I just cant seem to distance myself from this team and the Atlanta teams that consistenly were the 2 seed just to flame out in the first round. Winning games like this will definitely help shake that image though. Hawks in a big win over Rip City!!

BOS (+6.5) vs. HOU

Don't even know where to start with this one!!! Evan Turner and the C's against MVP candidate James the beard Harden??? Oh god I think Nutz has finally lost it, maybe too many customers have been giving him the classic "Where's my Camaro??" line at his day job, but I seriously cant even begin to understand this selection. I wouldn't take Boston here if they were getting 12.5 points let alone 6.5. But this is what happens when you are to lazy to look at lines on your own.

TOR (-7) vs. BKN

Solid line, classic good team against bad team trope going on here. This line is like ordering a California roll when getting sushi, sure you might take some risks on the rest of the order, but if those all fail spectacularly you know you have that good ole California roll to at least make the hunger go away. Sure, safe, reliable pick....and now the Nets are definitely winning by 20.

 

CLE (-7) vs. SAC

Bron Bron out of for the Cavs and Kyrie is coming off a double nickel game. Man it seems like the chips are stacked on the Sacramento side for this one. Also Boogie made the all star game today, so you know hes gonna come out looking to celebrate on the court. Cant even come up with a good reason to bet this one, stay the fuck away.

NOP (+5) vs. LAC

A really good team at home against a squad that only features one legitimate player. I don't even have enough snark to get through the rest of this pick. Take the Clippers, don't listen to me or Nutz.
