Tuesday Nighy NHL Picks
Ottawa @ NY Rangers (-175)
After losing 2 straight by way of 3-0 shutouts, the Rangers appear to be back on the winning track. They’ve won 15 out of their last 18 games; one of the best stretches in the NHL right now. After wins on the road against Columbus and Pittsburgh, a home game against the Sens shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Especially when Rick Nash is making a legitimate case for a Rocket Richard trophy.
Edmonton @ Washington -1.5 (+120)
After 2 straight losses the Caps are in need of a slump buster. Edmonton is the slump bustiest of all slump busters. Ovi and company should have no issue putting the Oilers to rest tonight in the Verizon Center.
Smashville (+115) @ Montreal
Nothin’ special here. I’m just counting on them good ole southern boys to come on up to “Montrale” and show them Habs whats what.
Minnesota @ Detroit (-170)
Detroit has won 4 straight and 9 out of their last 12. Babcock has them playing some of the best hockey they’ve played all year. The Wild, 4 wins in the past 17 games, have self destructed to say the least. I fully expect the Wings to “put it on” the Wild tonight in Hockeytown.
Arizona @ Chicago -1.5 (-110)
The Yotes have won 1 out of their last 7 games. The desert dwellers have definitely fallen upon tough times. Chi-town hasn’t been stomping teams out exactly but come on it’s Arizona.
