Sorry Rangers’ fans, the Islanders are owning the inner city rivalry this year.  You can’t really get mad though can you? These guys have waited decades for the chance to be the best NYC has to offer.  This year they are on top of their game and on top of the Rangers.

 

 

Washington (-165) @ Columbus

Bobrovsky is out once again for the Jackets.  This time it’s more serious and it couldn’t’ come at a worse time for the team.  Columbus can kiss any fighting hope of playoffs goodbye.  Ovi might have a field day with the Jackets back up tendy.

 

 

Winnipeg @ Pittsburgh (-105)

Malkin and Crosbeezy sat out the allstar game but how hurt are they really?  Nowadays it just seems like the top players will use a hangnail to exempt them from the allstar game with a “lower body injury”.   I expect to see Malkin and Cros on the ice tonight and I expect the Pens to win.

 

 

Detroit (-150) @ Florida

I fully expect the Wings to continue rolling.  They’ve won 5 straight and a whole bunch out of their last 10.  There’s no reason they don ‘t do some work down in Florida tonight unless they beat themselves. 

 

 

Colorado (+160) @ Smashville 

I think the Avs pull off the upset tonightin Smashville.  The Preds are at serious risk of slipping up right now with Rinne out.  They’re .500 without him right now and they’re taking on a highly skilled offensive club.

 

 

 

Tampa (-150) @ Carolina

Stamkos and the Boys head to Cane country tonight.  I don’t think Johnson will be back yet but the Boltz should roll regardless.  This is a top team in the East taking on one of the worst.
