Last night the Cavs had arguably their most complete game of the season and the Pistons still managed a cover (+8.5), so there’s no way they can do it again right?? Couple of factors in play here, Rip City at home, Cavs due for a bad game, and Lillard is gonna go hard against the more popular Kyrie.
SAC (+6.5) vs. TOR
The Rudy Gay revenge game, or as it’s known these days the one day in January Rudy shows up for a game. Really wanted to pick Toronto, but they played last night against a physical Pacers team and Sac town is rested after having their game canceled on Monday. Look for Rudy and Boogie to control this game inside and out as they get the rare road victory.
CHA vs. SA (-12.5)
A little palette cleanser from all this road cheese I’m serving up leads us to the great state of Texas. Let me tell you what, these Mexicans can play some basketball in good ole San Anton, so remember the Alamo and take the home squad. Wait; didn’t the “home squad” get slaughtered in the Alamo? Hmm, that doesn’t bode well for bidness…but on the plus side Born Ready is the number one option tonight against a Popovich D. Take the immortal Spurs here against the Hornet/Pelican CATZ.
WIZ (+6.5) vs. PHX
The Suns have recently started using the strategy of benching players for the rest of the game after they receive a T. It has cost them 2 games already in the 3 games I have seen them use it. In a tough western conference, they are basically giving away games for something as minor as a T!! If the early 2000 Pistons had this rule Rasheed Wallace would have been out of the league faster than Josh Gordon can fail another drug test!! Its dumb Phoenix, and when you are wondering what happened this summer after the Thunder swoop that final playoff spot, remember this stupid rule. OH yeah picz, Wiz are a solid road team and 6.5 is way too many points to give them.
