Case of the Mondayz NHL Picks
Edmonton @ New Jersey (-190)
Edmonton got blown out by the likes of Toronto just the other day. I don’t think they stand a chance against the Devils tonight. The Oilers are 7-18 straight up in their last 25 games. The Devils are playing decent hockey right now. As a result, they are 5-2 straight up in their last 7. I don’t see any logical reason the Devils don’t win tonight
OVER/UNDER: UNDER 5 (-135)
Los Angeles @ Columbus
LA has won just 2 games in their last 9. That sounds pretty shitty except those 2 games have been against 2 of the best teams in the world: Chicago and Tampa. Basically I have no idea what to expect here. The Blue Jackets will lose for a month straight then come out and beat Saint Louis into the fucking ground 7-1; LA will lose to the Panthers and follow it up with a win against Tampa. What the hell is a hockey sports better supposed to do?! Take the over.
OVER/UNDER: OVER 5 (-135)
Vancouver (+130) @ Minnesota
That’s right. Rolling with the Nucks o’er here for the upset. The Wild have been ON FIRE don’t get me wrong. 3 shut outs in their last 4 games and 5 straight wins is nothing to joke about. However, Vancouver is coming off a 5-0 BEAT DOWN they dished out to none other than the Penguins of Pittsburgh. I like the fact that the ‘Nucks are the dogs here because they are going to win.
Arizona @ Chicago -1.5 (-105)
It’s pretty sad when the line is -105 after subtracting the spread. The Hawks are on a different level than the Yotes if you take away Ekman-Larsson. The Swede on the Coyotes has 16 goals this year and 4 goals in his last 6 games. Kane and Toews at home are the pick here though regardless.
OVER/UNDER: UNDER 5 (-120)
Calgary +1.5 (-225) @ San Jose
Yep, shitty line but I’m rolling it. Calgary will most likely win this game in my opinion but I’m looking out for my record here. #selfish
