Is college football unbelievably boring to anyone else? Well have no fear, B Catz is here to save your Monday night with a trio of NBA locks for those uninterested in the national championship.
SAS -14.5 vs. BKN
The smart play here is probably taking the points when you consider all of the factors Brooklyn has going against them. They fired their coach and GM over the weekend for absolutely no reason; and have played like shit over the last month after looking feisty in the first few weeks of the season. Combine that with the fact that a home team is getting almost 15 points and it seems like a no-brainer right?? Nope, can't do it. Spurs didn't come through for me on Friday with a 14.5 point spread at home, so they owe me one by getting this cover on the road.
WAS +8 vs. CHI
This just seems like too many points to give one team that isn't remarkably better than the other. Would I feel better if Bradley Beal ever suited up again for the Washington professional basketball team? Yeah, probably. But in his absence John Wall is dominating the ball and finding some success depending on his match up. He is turning the ball over more than a high school Freshman in his varsity appearance, but the Bulls aren't known for forcing that many turnovers this season. Even though I expect Chicago to win this game, I'll take the points and hope for a late Washington run to get the cover.
MIA +13.5 vs. GSW
In a battle that would have been a Christmas day match-up two years ago when the King was still in South Beach, returns tonight for the latest installment. Do I think Miami can do the impossible and score the upset tonight? No!! Don't be ridiculous, Golden State is an absurd 35-2 right now!! However, I do think the Heat can play just enough defense to bother Curry and Thompson and cover this double digit spread. This all the potential to be a twenty point game with two minutes left just to see a couple of garbage buckets go in for Miami and they score the cover!!
