College Threeway Tease Suprise!
Now that we are really in what we would call the "meat and potatoes" portion of the tournament, it's time to start tossing some money around. Unfortunately for you, our erratic picks record has probably left you with little money to gamble with. So grab that solo cup full of coins, Chuck E. Cheese tokens and paper clips, head to Coin Star and check these bitches out:

(+180) Michigan (-3, teased to +1) vs Tennessee (WINNER!)
Louisville (-4.5 teased to P) vs Kentucky (L)
Michigan St. vs Virginia (UNDER 129, teased to 133) (WINNER!)

First, let me point out that there are two teams from Michigan still in the tournament. Hopefully this points to signs of recovery for a State that has had no financial stability since the Dragon "Smaug" made his home somewhere in Detroit. Now, the Wolverines have some solid tourney experience, a smart coach, the classic white guy that is good in college, a pedigree player in Glen Robinson Jr and cool Unis. Take a look at Tennessee: They are not very good. That's it! We've watched Tennessee a few times this year. Yeah they have a couple pieces and have won a few games, but are they going to have a shot at the title? No way. We're rollin' with the team that named their University mascot after a Marvel character (fact).

Louisville and Kentucky will be a fun game to watch! For the first 5 minutes...If you are trying to convince me that the Harrison's are going to beat the best full court press, man to man defense in the country, then I've got a safe neighborhood in Detroit to take you to. The Harrisons will lose this game by themselves and Coach Calipari will force them to go to the NBA (Europe) so he never has to deal with them again.

As far as the Spartan's and Virginia go, I would rather not pick. Tony Bennett is a great coach, Tom Izzo is a great coach. They both play great team ball, they both scheme well defensively and they have both played in big games. All I can say is, this should be low scoring. Probably 65-61.

 It’s hump day; lets live a little

Louisville @ Southern Methodist (+3) (L)

SMU has not lost at home this season (knock on wood).  Their 15-0 home record is tough to argue with.  For the betting man, SMU has gone 17-8 against the spread this season while Louisville is 13-13.  The Cardinals are coming off a loss in Memphis while the Mustangs are coming off a decisive win at home against Central Florida.  SMU has won some big games recently against Cincinnati, UCONN, and Memphis.  Ironically enough, Louisville’s last 3 losses came to Memphis (twice) and Cinci.  I predict the Mustangs roll tomorrow night at home and keep the perfect home record (knock on wood).  They haven’t had a good basketball team, or sports team for that matter, in ages.  The home crowd at SMU will be ready to go tomorrow night to support their team in a big game.  Also, we received an entirely unconfirmed report that Rick Pitino’s favorite hooker lives near the SMU campus.  Do what you will with this unconfirmed piece of information.

Not a lot going on in the Show tonight but, I’ll do my best to give you degenerate gamblers some solid picks.

Montreal @ Anaheim -180 (L)

This one’s pretty plain and simple.  The Birdemic (that one’s for you Bobcat) that is the Ducks, has evolved into an elite NHL club.  They score a shit load of goals and have one of the league’s best tenders between the pipes, Hiller.  Their dynamic offense, led by Getzlaf and Perry, rains pucks on net like the birds in the cult classic Birdemic.  Anaheim sits atop the NHL with 91 points.  The Habs are out matched and in unfriendly territory.  Look for Anaheim to roll once again and move one step closer to locking up the President’s Trophy.

Men's College Basketball

We have not been successful with college basketball this year and we need all the help we can get. So we are banding together to come up with some winners today! And what better (or worse) way to do it, than a good ol' fashioned. That's right! A 3 team teaser! 5 Point Teaser, +150. (WINNER!)

BJ's Pick: Rutgers @ Lousiville (-21 teased to -16)

Louisville and "7 Second Pitino" have been solid this year, throwing up some big numbers and completely wearing out their opponents in the first half. Rutgers on the other hand has been average at best against just as average competition. The Pitino's are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Sunday games. Expect a first half blowout and hope that Louisville keeps their foot on the gas pedal for the rest of the game. 

Bob's Pick: Villanova @ Creighton (-2 teased to +3)
Today we win back all of that money that the Harrison twins and Andrew Wiggins stole from us last night. In honor of last nights losses I will never bet on teams from Kansas or NBA teams that have Kansas players on the team. Tonight, we go with the Creighton Bluejays. Last meeting between these teams was a blowout in which Creighton hit a school record number of threes. Plus that was in Villanova! Look for Nova to come out strong tonight in revenge for the beating they received in the first game, but Doug McDermott keeping them at bay and covering the spread for Creighton.

Sugar's Pick: Notre Dame  (+2, teased to +7) @ Boston College

Boston College has won 1 game in their last 8, and 2 in their last 13.  I’m not exactly a real big “numbers” guy but those numbers are too shitty to ignore.  Losing is trending at BC and everyone is on board.  Notre Dame isn’t exactly a national powerhouse either; boasting a 2-3 record in their last 5.  However, they did manage to beat Duke at home right after New Years.  Basically, look for Notre Dame to play like shit most of the game while BC tries to figure out what sport they’re playing.  Bottom line, Notre Dame will most likely win, if they don’t they’ll lose by 2 or 3.
