NBA Picks

Since my colleagues decided to take the day off to watch some NCAA action, I stepped my game up by picking every game on the NBA docket tonight. While everyone else is losing money because they thought there's no way Ohio State loses to Dayton, you will be counting your cold hard NBA winnings.

OKC (-9.5) at CLE (L)
A revenge game for the Thunder against a Kyrie-less Cavs squad. The last time these two teams played we saw the Thunder blow a huge lead and the Cavs score a huge road upset. Don't think that Westbrook and Durant have forgotten about that game. Having a pissed off Westbrook come after you is like betting on a PAC 12 team in the NCAA tournament, it's not gonna work out well. Look for a rested Thunder squad to come out firing on all cylinders as they ensure that the Cavs leave this game knowing who the better team is.

Wolves at Rockets over 214.5 (WINNER!)
This one seems way too obvious for my liking, but sometimes Vegas wants you to overthink these easy ones and go the other direction. Dwight Howard will be out of this game and look for that to really open the scoring inside for the Twolves. Hopefully this one turns in to a shootout early and stays competitive throughout leading to a combined 225 or above.

WAS (+4.5) at POR (L)
Portland has not played very good basketball lately especially when missing their All star power forward Lamarcus Aldridge. The Wizards on the other hand have been getting by without Nene for weeks now and look to be a dangerous team come playoff time. Look for the Wiz to roll into p-town tonight and pull of a bigger stunner than what Milwaukee is going to do to Villanova tomorrow (15 beating a 2 alert!!).

MIL at GS under 206  (L)
This should be the easiest bet for you to win all night. The Warriors are getting ready for the playoffs and playing smooth, efficient basketball; whereas the Bucks are more concerned about how Joel Embiid and his back during the tournament. Look for the Warriors to blow this one out from the get go racing out to a huge halftime lead and then coasting to the end in an effortless 102-89 victory.
