Why won't this season end already? One thing that I have learned over the last few days of doing this, is that right now picks are hard to make. You have no idea which is gonna show up and actually try or which ones are mailing it in and lookin forward to next year. Hopefully after some consideration I was able to pull some solid ones from the trash pile.
MEM at PHO under 194.5 (WINNER!)
The game of the night. The creme de la creme. This one will basically decide who is going to the playoffs and who is going to get an early start on scouting the drafting prospects. Both teams have had great seasons and deserve respect no matter who ultimately wins, which is why I could not select an outright winner. Instead I think that this game will be a defensive, grind it out, possession intensive, slugfest that finishes 89-85.
MIA(+5.5) at WAS (L)
On paper this line looks fishy. I mean giving the two time defending champion Heat 5.5 against anybody is a risk you have to take right? Right?? Well even if you still don't trust me, Lebron will not let his team lose by more than five to the Wizards that's a stone cold lock of the century of the week.
SA at HOU over 212 (L)
Both teams are gonna be missing key players that originally had me interested in backing the Rockets. Than I thought about it for twenty seconds and isn't it a much safer bet that HOU won't play any defense because the Spurs are resting their stars and this one turns in to....wait for it....a good ole Texas shootout!! Get it? Because both teams are from Texas! Points, points, and more points is the name of the game here.
