NHL Friday
New York @ Pittsburgh (-1.5; +165) (L)
New York @ Pittsburgh (OVER 5; -125) (WINNER!)
If you’ve watched the games so far in this series it is safe to say that the Penguins have progressively gotten better each game. The Pens should bury the Rangers tonight at home and feed off the crowd. The Rangers will give it all they’ve got since it’s do or die, so the over is a safe bet.
First Period Money Line
New York @ Pittsburgh (-150) (L)
Penguins will take control right from the start. They should definitely have a lead after 1 period.
Chicago (-1.5;+220) @ Minnesota (L)
Minnesota had their fun in game 3. They won one for the home crowd and the hockey loving state of Minnesota. Now it’s time for the Stanley Cup Playoffs to continue and for Chicago to stomp the Wild into the fucking ground. From my perspective, Chicago is so much better than Minnesota it’s comical. They’re better coached, they have better players, they have better goaltending, and if that’s not enough, they’ve won 2 of the last 4 Stanley Cups. This team is the defending Stanley Cup Champions; they know how to get it done. Their stars are in the prime of their career and if they win the cup for the second year in a row (3 out of the last 5) they will go down in NHL history as a dynasty. Sorry Minnesota, you had a good run.
Chicago @ Minnesota (UNDER 5; EVEN) (L)
I’m expecting a nice 3-0 beat down by the Hawks. I don’t think it will get all crazy with tons of goals and shit. Just a solid, decisive “you don’t fuckin belong on the ice with us”, beat down. One of those games where all the Wild fans go home and know they don’t have a chance in game 5 in Chi Town.
First Period OVER/UNDER (L)
Chicago @ Minnesota (UNDER 1.5;-140)
Nothing special here; I expect a 1 goal first period.
