This is the first time since starting Dirty Picks that I am going to predict a game ends in a draw! Granted we mostly do NBA and NHL games, but let's ignore that for a second. Really this game is all going to come down to Algeria being able to score a goal, I definitely expect the Koreans to slide one in to net, but will the Algerians be able to?? That's the real question, apparently Vegas doesn't think so because it's +235, but as we have learned before I am definitely smarter than Vegas (well, I didn't get struck by lightning so apparently it's true). Take the draw here and enjoy some crappy, defensive minded futbol as you win a little walking around money for the coming week.
USA (+260) vs Portugal
As an American, you find yourself backing your team even in situations where it does not look good. Playing against Cristiano Ronaldo in a World Cup match is not my idea of a safe bet. But maybe I let my patriotism get to me a little too much this morning; and I may have been listening to "America The Beautiful" on repeat at my desk but this is a good bet. The US will win this game outright and take a commanding lead in the infamous "group of death" because this is America and America always wins out (except in Iraq, that's a mess!).
