NHL Tuez

Ottawa (-105) @ Columbus
Here's the situation in Columbus for tonight: Brandon Dubinsky, Nathan Horton, Boone Jenner, Nick Foligno, and Sergei Bobrovsky, a group of guys undoubtedly vital to the success of the Jackets, will all be sitting in the stands injured.  4 out of of the top 6 forwards along with the starting goalie are all currently on IR.  Half the guys in the locker room flew in from their AHL clubs yesterday or today to play a short stint while the starters get healthy and some dude named Curtis is in net.  This game could get ugly.  Ottawa for sure wins this.

New Jersey @ Pittsburgh (-190)
It's starting to get old but, once again Crosby is by far the best player in the NHL.  There is no other player in the league that is as unstoppable as Sid the Grown-Up Kid.  Guys like Ovechkin and Stamkos have spurts where they get pissed off and play like an animal and dominate the ice; somehow Cros brings that intensity with him every shift.  Pittsburgh is a tough team to beat at home, especially if you're New Jersey and everyone pretty much hates you.  I don't see the. Penguins having any issues tonight.

Winnipeg @ New York Islanders -1.5 (+170)
I haven't punched my ticket for the Islanders bandwagon just yet but it's Winnipeg and they're at home.  John PuckDaddy Tavares will most likely be spotted serving up some sick, no look, sauce passes for Kyle Okposo on the back door.  The Islanders change their goalies more frequently than most teams change defenders so I have no idea who will be in net tonight.  My guess would be Halak.

Minnesota @ Boston
OVER 5 (EVEN)
My gut tells me there's a 90% chance Boston walks all over the Wild here tonight.  However, the last time I picked the Wild to get trounced they shot me a big ole "fuck you" and blew out Tampa 7-2.  Not making that mistake twice in a week.  I like the over though; both teams have been playing well offensively this year.

Buffalo @ Toronto -1.5 (+135)
The fact that Buffalo is coming off a win IN San Jose makes me like this pick even more for two reasons: Buffalo beating the Sharks last game guarantee's the Leafs are going to come hard tonight and the last time Buffalo won a game they followed it up by scoring one goal in their next four games combined.  This has all the looks and feel of a solid Toronto win.

Anaheim (+135) @ Chicago
When I look at the schedule and results of both of these teams side by side, I feel like it's obvious that right now Anaheim is playing better.  While Chicago is winning a lot of close games by a goal or in overtime, Anaheim is rolling over teams by 3-4 goal margins.  Chicago is always tough at home but the Ducks are playing REALLY well right now.
