Last night was pretty rough, but that was expected. Tonight, I decided to switch it up a little bit and take the picks that make no sense and probably won't hit, but I still get a lot of points which makes me feel great.
NYK +13.5 vs. CLEVELAND
Nothing makes sense about this line!! This is the worst bet on the board at first glance, which obviously makes it the safest pick. If you watched the Knicks play last night, you can make a strong case that this line should be at least be 20 points. The only hope here is that Melo gets hot and is able to put up 35-40, while the Cavs can't hit from deep. Wow, I just reread that line and now feel even worse about this one. Good luck to those who take this advice.
OKC +13 vs. LAC
Another game that will be exceptionally hard to watch knowing that I am taking the underdog. OKC looked okay last night, but ran out of gas late in Portland to make the final score a lot worse than it actually was. Even worse, Westbrook had a really big game last night and if he continues on this kind of pace he could be dead by the all-star break. Seriously the Thunder rely heavily on the shoulders of Perry Jones the third and Sebastian Telfair. Looks like I'm gonna make these picks, make me a nice double gin tonic and forget I even made them two hours later.
