NFL Week 7 - The Spread

We're back with another week of the Spread, our weekly NFL podcast where we break down every game and give our picks and locks for the week.

Sunday Sundae!

Since the Dirty Picks couldn't coordinate well enough to get a podcast recorded this week, B Catz decided to come to the rescue for the blog once again with some sweet, treat football locks. Fresh off an impressive, borderline Pats level of cheating, 10-4-1 last Sunday, we attempt to keep this picks training rolling into week 5.

BUF -2 vs TEN
Rex Ryan eats rookie QBs like they were a set of fifteen sliders at White Castle!! Seriously the man can eat, even post lap band surgery. But if there is one thing Rex knows better than the inside of a fast food burger joint it's how to confuse the hell out of opposing quarterbacks, let alone rookie QBs. After looking very solid through the first few weeks, I think this is finally the week Marcus looks like a rookie and throws four picks, as Rex and the Bills go duck hunting in Nashville.

CHI +9 vs KC
I really did not like this line when I initially looked at it, but then I started thinking, would I really be comfortable on the other side of this? Alex Smith as my QB giving nine points against a Bears offense that actually does have some talent? Hell no!! That man shouldn't be trusted to pick up Justin Houstons dry cleaning, let alone run a successful NFL team. Sure Jamaal Charles is going to get his like he usually does, but I don't think KC has enough in the tank to win this game by 9 points.

NYG (-7) vs SF
This is basically the fuck you 49ers offense bet. I took the Niners last week against the Packers and then watched them barely be able to move the ball and get smoked 17-3 by a barely trying Aaron Rodgers and company. This week I don't expect anything different. These ain't the Harbaugh Niners anymore, expect a massive beat down by the Giants as OBJ has a monster game with at least two sportscenter top 10 grabs against a suspect Niners d.

The Spread - EP 3

NFL WEEK 2
After crushing week 1 picks, we are back at it on the Spread. Please download and share with everyone that sucks at making NFL picks.

DP Lock of the Week

NE (-1.5) vs BUF

Catz: After nailing my week 1 lock thanks mostly in part to Johnny Manziel, the Catz is back on the hunt looking for another diamond encrusted, gold plated lock to throw on a game. Boy, was this easy. Sure you can try and get cute and take the jags getting a bunch of points, or even grabbing the Eagles at home against a banged up Cowboys team, but when it really comes down to it, what's a better pick than the Pats going into to Buffalo to derail the bill train? I'm not a Tyrod Taylor fan, and even though he looked alright in week 1, this week he goes against one of the best football minds in NFL history. Being a diehard NYJ fan, this was not an easy pick, but I think it's the easiest lock on the board.

BJ: Don't let Catz trick you into thinking this was some tough pick. We all agreed that NE was the lock of the week this week. After a great LOTW for week 1 (cincy) we all agreed the Pats should dominate T Mobile and the Bills, despite the week 1 hype.

Catz Bonus Lock!!!!

NYJ (+7) vs IND

Since I went and disrespected my brethren by calling the Pats the best pick on the board, I figured I had to make it up by going out on a limb with good ole gang green. The Bills are a very similar team to the Jets and they just blitzed the hell out of Luck until he forgot what sport he was playing, expect a lot of the same from NY. Ultimately I do think the Jets will lose this game on a crushing interception from Fitzmagic, but it should be a three or four point final score.

2015 NFL Draft

NFL INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO

2015 NFL Draft

Instead of rolling out the typical generic mock drafts that become so popular this time of year, DP decided to go in a different direction with our prognostication. Imagine you had 100k to invest in the six elite prospects of this years NFL draft. How would you allocate it in order to maximize your return on investment? Would you go heavy in a risky stock hoping that they pay off would be worth the risk? Or would you spread it out evenly with risk/safe, hoping to make a decent amount, not necessarily an early retirement nest egg? Lets find out.

The B. Catz Retirement Fund

$25K- Jameis Winston
We get it started with a pretty decent amount of risk. This investment could be akin to taking a stack of money and lighting it on fire if he gets arrested halfway during his rookie season which is what most are expecting it seems. On the other hand, this dude could be the next face of the NFL and his off the field issues could be remembered and laughed about the same way we laugh that Brett Favre was an alcoholic for the first five years of his career (HAHAHA, alcoholism!). I am definitely on the side of people are way too concerned with his off the field issues, and don't pay enough attention to the way he carried Florida State for the better part of two years, especially in second half and crunch time. Famous Jameis is going to live up to the moniker and this return alone could set me up for the foreseeable future.

Jameis stupid

$25K- Leonard Williams
Safest player in the draft right?? How could you possibly go wrong with an investment like this?? Easy, dudes bust in the draft all the time!! Every year someone gets tabbed as the "safest pick", and then ends up out of the league three years later, or even worse does just enough to stay on a team, but never lives up to the initial hype. Remember Glenn Dorsey? HE WAS A MONSTER IN COLLEGE!! Used to eat up double teams like it was a fresh packed bowl at a Cypress Hill concert! What happened to him? He's a solid NFL D-lineman. Definitely never lived up to his top five billing, but he can play in the league. The NFL is a tough league to succeed in, and even though scouts are doing better with each advance in technology, it is by no means a flawless system. So I am going to invest in the "safe pick" but I am not going to bet my entire retirement on it.

Leonard Williams Draft

$50K- Kevin White
Here it is Ladies and Gentlemen!!! The pick out of the top six "elite prospects" that I believe has the highest potential return on investment. I'll be completely honest, two months ago I had no idea who Kevin White was. All I knew was that a few mock drafts had him going to my New York Jets squad with the sixth overall pick. Then I started to get the cold sweats when I heard some of the knocks being tossed around about him. Combine wonder, late bloomer, tons of potential. Not exactly the type of words that inspire you to invest half your bank roll on right?? Then I watched his tape. DUDE IS A MONSTER! Absolute nightmare matchup who reminded me of a mix of Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald! He's tall, fast, and catches the ball with his hands away from his body!! A more recent comparison could be made that he's the next Alshon Jeffrey who 31 out of 32 teams would absolutely love to have (the one who wouldn't is Jacksonville because they have no idea what the fuck they are doing). I think this guy is a pro bowl WR from the moment he steps on the field. He might not put up the numbers that others could because most likely the team that gets him will be struggling at QB, but much like Sammy Watkins in Buffalo, you will still notice that he's on the field. To me this is the safest pick in the draft, and definitely the one who offers the highest potential ROI. Can't wait till the Jets pair him with Brandon Marshall, pick up Bryce Petty in the third round and throw their way to a top five offense for the 2016 season!!

Kevin White Combine

Mr. Nutz's "All your nutz in 3 baskets" Mutual Fund

$30K - Leonard Williams
I can definitely hitch my wagon to the Leanord Williams wagon train! The man was beastly during college and at this point analysts are just looking for ways to shit on him. He's going to cause a lot of problems on the interior line with his explosiveness, and a lot of people are going to be suprised at his pass rush game. I'm not saying he's going to be JJ Watt, but h's definitely going to be one of the few defensive lineman that can play any down situation and have a presence. As long as he stays healthy, he will have a long run in the NFL, and I'll be a rich man.

$20K - Todd Gurley
This is a tough call because Gurley is coming off a major injury. In this case, you would have to assume that you are paying half the amount as say Leonard Williams or Kevin White; so if Gurley does hit, your making a ton of money. One of my finest gambling moments came last year in Vegas for the opening weekend of college football. Gurley single handedly won me a c-note and from then on I was a huge fan. He reminds me a ton of Marshawn Lynch, but a little shiftier. Gurley could come in and make a big impact immediately and I think he will be the best first round RB taken since Adrian Peterson.
Gurley Draft

$50K - Amari Cooper
This is my Ace in the Asshole. Cooper is a bad ass wide receiver and that's what I'm hanging my hat on. He proved it on the big stage with Bama throughout his career, often going up against some of the nastiest defenses in the nation. He may not be as flashy as Kevin White, but when you throw the ball to him, he's going to catch the fucker. His ability to track the deep ball and fearlessness going over the middle will make him a star in this league. Even if he gets stuck with a shitty QB to start, he'll always have potential to live on.
Amari Cooper Draft

2015 NFL Draft

NFL Draft Prop Preview

Even the most degenerate of gamblers wouldn't dare place a bet on the NFL draft right?? It's more of a crapshoot than pro wrassling for god sakes (some would even argue its just as fixed...), but luckily for the readers of Dirty Picks, B Catz likes to live life a little dangerously. So when I started to do some research, I was startled by the results; there were no actual props to bet on! So instead of blowing it off and shooting my editor a text that just said "hey remember that article idea? Fuck it, no go", I made up my own props!! (EDITOR'S NOTE: Actual props are up and a full slate should be available by Monday on most sites)

WHO GOES NUMBER ONE???

Jameis Winston (-250)

Obvious favorite pick here. You are gonna hear all kinds of rumbling about the background and the future criminal record he is going to have, but don't let all that smoke cloud your opinion here. Jameis is a franchise QB and teams always reach to take a franchise QB no matter what the baggage. Personally I think Winston is going to make a solid pro, but I also predicted last season Johnny Football was basically the second coming of Brett Favre (at least with the booze right??).

Jameis fat

Mariota (+500)

Peter King said earlier this week on Mike and Mike that the Jets want to move up to number one and take the former Oregon QB!! As a Jets fan, I do not support this move for the team because it means giving up everything we have for a QB who may not end up being very good in the NFL. Of course with our draft history maybe we should trade away all of our picks for the next few years. So is it likely? Not really, but if it happens you could be swimming in gold dubloons by Sunday!!

The Field (+1300)

Not gonna happen. Doesn't matter if Winston assaults twelve midgets and steals half of the crabs in the sea before the draft, he's still likely gonna go first. If for some crazy reason he does not, Mariota certainly will. Don't waste your hypothetical money on this made up prop bet that you can't actually bet on...

WHO DRAFTS NUMBER ONE???

So we've established Winston is going one right? But who's gonna be the lucky squad to throw a jersey on him and trot him out to training camp?

BUCS (-500)
Obvious pick, pretty safe odds that they end up making this pick. The Bucs are horrible, and a decent QB could go a long way with rising superstar Mike Evans in the mix.  Basically a 99.5% chance they end up making this pick and hanging up on all of the other offers.

FIELD (+2000)
If I'm the bucs GM, I'm hanging up on anyone not offering more than six picks. Sometimes NFL teams are stupid enough to trade multiple high round picks in order to select a QB who could end up being the face of the franchise (although unlikely), but I don't think that happens this year. The Bucks are too damn bad not to take a flyer on one of these guys.

WILL TODD GURLEY GO TOP TEN??

YES (+300)

Teams are scared as fuck right now to draft a running back in the first round, and everyone will say its because the league is changing to a pass happy, short screen type game. But the real reason nobody wants to draft a RB first round? Trent Richardson. He busted so damn hard, I thought Peter North came out of retirement!! He then somehow suckered the Colts into giving up a first round pick for him, where he continued to shoot off money-shots on the Indy front office.

NO (-150)

Remember that Trent Richardson guy I was talking about? Yeah, that's a real concern. He sucked so bad that literally half of the teams in this draft are going to pass on Gurley, just because of Trent. Really kind of messed up when you think about it, Gurley could be an absolute savage and make teams regret passing on him just like Adrian Peterson did when he entered the league. Smart prop bet here, Gurley drops to the 12-15 range and someone gets a steal.

WHAT WILL THE JETS DO WITH NUMBER 6 OVERALL?

Finally the real question that everyone has been dying for the answer to!! Okay, not really, I'm just a diehard Jets fan and I refuse to write an NFL themed article without spending a few hundred words projecting their draft.

TAKE A DE, DL, OLB (-250)

Jets need pass rushing in the worst way. They haven't taken a top pass rusher since 2006 when they selected the notorious Vernon Gholston and he went on to secure his bust on the Mount Rushmore hall of really shitty NFL players. The dude never even got a sack in the NFL!!! NOT ONE!!! Fuckin prick...but the Jets have to take someone who can get to the QB, especially while TB12 still takes snaps in Foxboro. Also if Todd Mcshay is correct and Leonard Williams falls to number 6, don't be surprised if the Jets trade this pick, Williams is far too talented not too be over coveted by a team in the 7-21 range.

TAKE AN OFFENSIVE SKILL PLAYER (+150)

The Jets improved their offensive players this offseason, but they are by no means the Greatest Show on Turf. Hell they are barely average on normal grass! All jokes aside, we need more weapons. I won't be surprised if Cooper, White, or even Gurley get selected, especially if the two QB's are off the board as expected.

TRADE BACK AND STOCKPILE (+300)

By far the smartest choice of the three, and also the most unlikely to happen. You never want the Jets fans to go crazy (they will either way) when they announce a trade, but new GM Mikey Mac has earned enough good will over his first couple of months that even the die hardest of Jets fanz will let this one slide. So go ahead Mike, we have tons of holes and this draft could be pretty deep in the middle and later rounds. Not likely to happen, but could be worth a decent payout if it does.

Super Bowl XLIX

Super Bowl Props

Player to record first Seahawks reception in the game:

Marshawn Lynch 11/2

This is one of the safer props on the board! The Seahawks rarely go downfield and Darrell  Bevell's terrible play calling usually calls for a dumb screen or HB route that won't go anywhere to get Wilson started.

Marshawn Crotch

Player to record the first interception in the game:

Byron Maxwell 14/1

B-Max has been great this year and a lot of people have not noticed. When Richard Sherman is on the other side of the field, you're going to be targeted a lot, but Maxwell has handled the pressure well. If the Hawks put Simon or Lane on the outside, B-Max will have the Pats' slot receiver locked down.

Super Bowl MVP

Bobby Wagner 50/1

Last year saw Malcolm Smith win the MVP and if the Seahawks can dominate defensively AGAIN this year, Wagner will be the beneficiary. Wagz will be shadowing Gronk most of the game while laying the wood on "Smokin" Blounts. If Wagner has 12 tackles, a forced fumble and a pick 6 (realistic) he'll easily win MVP.

Player to score the first TD in the game

Jermaine Kearse 16/1
Tom Brady 25/1

Kearse has been a big time target for Wilson this year (unfortunately for Seahawk fans) and this is a good value bet if you have an extra $5 or $10 spot laying around. Brady is an awesome bet. At one point he was 97% on QB sneaks! If they get down to the 1, they will not be tentative like the Packers.

The First Score of the Game will Be?

—Seattle Safety (33/1)

Are you betting on the SUPER BOWL or are you betting on the super bowl? That’s the only question that matters.  Don’t be the guy, sitting on his cousin’s friend’s couch, wishing he had put some cash money on the first points being the safety for seattle line.  Who’s going to dominate this game? AMERICA is, that’s who. “Let’s win this one for New England, America, and the Patriots.” - Belly’s most probably pre game speech.

Will Marshawn Lynch Grab His Crotch After Scoring a TD?

— YES (+220)

MARSHAWN “I don’t care who you are” Lynch! Grabbing dicks all over the place.  Do you really think Lynch won conduct the “hold muh dick” celly if he breaks loose for a TD?!

NFL Week 12 Picks

CIN (+3) @ HOU
JJ Watt sack
I don't like this pick at all, mainly based on the fact that I'm taking perennial under-performer Andy Dalton over the best defensive player in the league, JJ Watt. What do you think dalton was thinking about last night? You know he didn't get any sleep. He just sat there thinking about Watt plowing through his line like a mallard duck, over and over and over again. Somehow, the Texans Fitzpackian offense will suck so much that the Bengals will field goal there way to victory, leaving an angry Watt sulking on the sideline.

GB (-9) at MIN
Let's throw this out there: The Vikings are not a bad team to be on! I could easily go the other way here and bang out a Vikings +9 and feel  comfortable. All week we've heard that ARodge is the MVP of the league, the QB King and Mr. Long Dick Express (one of those is fake). So naturally that means he has to suck or get hurt or get suspended for sending lewd picks to Roger Goodell's daughter right before the game. Either way, if the Pack can avoid significant injuries here, there shouldn't be an issue covering. Hell, half the stadium will be pack fans anyways. Roll with the MVP until someone gets hurt.

Cleveland +3 @ Atlanta
Brian Hoyer and the Browns head into ATL to face a Falcons team that has become somewhat of a joke. The three ring circus they refer to as their offensive line is absolutely turrible. Matt Ryan gets his ass kicked week in and week out because his offensive line couldn't block a 7 year old girl. I think the Browns roll on the road.

Tampa +5 @ Chicago

Jay Cutz and Da Bears continue to provide quality reality television material with their pathetic play. This week their crashing season is going to hit rock bottom with a loss at home to the only team worse than them: Tampa.

NFL Picks

DRUNK PICKS
I've done it! Catz and Sugar are asleep and not answering my inane, drunken texts, so it's time for Mr. Nutz to shine! It's that time of night fellas, you know the deal. The bars have closed down, last call was somehow hours ago. All the more muscular, tattooed dudes have taken home the top 10% of the spoils and now you're stuck outside waiting for a cab that won't show up. BUT, while you wait drunk and completely devoid of rational thought, you've spotted that one chick devouring a hot dog from the hot dog cart outside the club. Yup, she's not great and she's eating a hot dog....from a street cart....at two in the morning....but damn, you can't go home empty handed! Well, that's when the two most versatile words in the English language come into play...

ROLL IT!

That's right! People can judge you and laugh, but you know what? You're making the best out of a shitty situation, and this morning, you're going to do the same! Yeah maybe you forgot to check with your bookie or capper or that nerd you beat up every week for gambling picks. So now, you gotta settle for Mr. Nutz's hot dog cart lockz of the week! We all make mistakes every once in a weekend, so take these drunk and illogical picks and roll em' like a '62 Caddie! While you'e at it, tell your boss to suck it, because after this weekend, you'll be rich! ROLL IT!

HOU @ CLE (-3.5)
A good ol' Southern Toss Up game! Nothin like tossing the old salad and seeing what comes out right?! Cleveland will roll in this one aka the battle of the Brady Backups. Don't even watch this game as neither team will be contending for the Super Bowl, or the Jameis Winston sweeps.

MIN @ CHI (-3)
Well my dude Smokin Jay has completely given up on football and is way more focused on banging his hot wife at this point. It's all good Jay, because outside of Chi Town, most people think you're hilarious! The Bears will win this one from a pure talents stand point, and Coach Canada doesn't want to get fired, so let's let bygones be bygones and give some points here for Chi Tizzy.

SEA (+1) at KC
Come the fuck off it Vegas! Seattle has been giving about 10 points per game (give or take a few) this year and now they are dogs to KC?! Nope. Not buying it. As a fan of the Seahawks, I have multiple reasons to think the Chiefs will win this. 1) Alex Smith kills the Seahawks 2) We lost Brandon Mebane who is basically a less fat version of Vince Wilfork, against a great run team 3) The Chiefs have a nice pass rush which will frustrate Russell "I see you're going to blitz so I'm not going to make any adjustments and take the sack" Wilson. 4) The Chiefs haven't given up a rushing TD all year I believe. So take all those points and roll them up into one big ass "Vegas is about kill the public" blunt and smoke it! SEEEEAAAA HAAWWWWKKKKSSS!

ATL (-1) at CAR
This makes sense. A God Awful Atlanta team is the favorite in Carolina....outdoors....and they are the Atlanta Falcons. Don't sit here and try to fuck me Vegas, I know what you're doing...

CIN @ NO (-7.5)
Andy Dalton Sux!!! That's a sign you'll see in the crowd as Drew Brees finally does something worthwhile this season. Saints win 37-0.

Thursday Madness

Last night was pretty rough, but that was expected. Tonight, I decided to switch it up a little bit and take the picks that make no sense and probably won't hit, but I still get a lot of points which makes me feel great.

NYK +13.5 vs. CLEVELAND

Nothing makes sense about this line!! This is the worst bet on the board at first glance, which obviously makes it the safest pick. If you watched the Knicks play last night, you can make a strong case that this line should be at least be 20 points. The only hope here is that Melo gets hot and is able to put up 35-40, while the Cavs can't hit from deep. Wow, I just reread that line and now feel even worse about this one. Good luck to those who take this advice.

OKC +13 vs. LAC

Another game that will be exceptionally hard to watch knowing that I am taking the underdog. OKC looked okay last night, but ran out of gas late in Portland to make the final score a lot worse than it actually was. Even worse, Westbrook had a really big game last night and if he continues on this kind of pace he could be dead by the all-star break. Seriously the Thunder rely heavily on the shoulders of Perry Jones the third and Sebastian Telfair. Looks like I'm gonna make these picks, make me a nice double gin tonic and forget I even made them two hours later.

Monday Night Madness

WAS (+10.5) AT DAL under 49.5

When I approached a random Asian man on the street and asked him what his favorite football team was, he screamed and yelled "Godzilla is coming!!" before sprinting off in the opposite direction. Thus proving my point that even the most casual of football fans immediately recognizes the history of the Cowboys/Redskins rivalry.  This is that classic story of two groups who can never be friends and will be mortal enemies until the end. Your classic vinegar and oil, Republicans and Democrats or Americans and the people who live in the south. Tonight though we are going to back the little brother in the 'Skins against the heavily favored 'boys. The 'boys will definitely bring their infamous running game and small pox infestation to the field as they have so many times before. This time though its the 'Skins who will be laying the trap and will pull the upset over the Boys winning this game outright!! If not you still get ten points, so keep it close 'Skins!! Also how ironic is it that Mr. Texas, Mr. All-American, Colt Fuckin McCoy is the QB for the Skins. The guy's name is COLT MCCOY!!! Colt McCoy, starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys is almost too perfect!!! Oh well, I guess for once the Skins will have their revenge and the sweet irony is that Colt is the one who's gonna do it.

Sugar's Lazy Ass NHL Picks

Catz NFL Lockz!

CHI (+7, -135) vs. NE
Anytime you pick against the Pats it makes you a little queasy come Sunday morning, its either that or morning sickness I can't really be sure either way. Regardless, I like getting the points here for the Bears. They are in complete turmoil this week after Brandon Marshall or one of his personalities lost it on the entire locker room after their loss last weekend.  Ol' Smokin Jay Cutz should rebound in what might be the biggest game of his career. Plus the Jets looked decent against this decimated Pats D, and the Jets are terrible!! Imagine what Alshon and B-Marsh can do come Sunday?? Yeah, take the points here it's pretty safe.

Philly (+3, -135) vs. AZ
Two very good teams playing for the inside track on the number one seed come playoff time. In this one I am going to invoke one of the oldest and most reliable rules by which you should always make your gambling choices, always take the points when Chip Kelly is the coach of the Eagles. Sure they might come out and lay an egg (EAGLES BURN!!!!), but do you really want to be the guy that backs Arizona and gives points when the Eagles explode for 35 in the second half to blow this out of the water?? Plus there is always the potential of Sproles hitting a home run and Philly stealing this game on the road.

HOU (-3, -120) vs. TENN
I hate Zach Mettenberger. You know how you can just look at a quarterback and decide instantly if he is going to be a good QB? Look at Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, even Andrew Luck's goofy ass!! You can tell this Mettenberger dude is a clown and JJ Watt fuckin hates clowns (I assume). Still don't believe me? Google Mettenberger real quick and then see if you can tell yourself that giving that guy three points is still a good choice. Thought so...Houston rebounds with a victory here.

Thursday Night NFL

San Diego (+9) at Denver

I had to check this line three times to make sure it was correct. Even after all that I still don't know if I believe it. Sure Denver looked like the best team in the league last Sunday night in their demolishing of the squad formerly known as the 49ers, but the turnaround is going to be way too hard on them. Couple that with the fact that they had one those classic Peyton on prime time type games and you have all the makings of a letdown game. I think that Denver still manages to find a way to win this game, but getting 9 points with the Chargers offense is basically free money, and who doesn't like free money? Maybe Republicans if it's free money from the government, but the rest of us normal folk? Come off it, get the points and thank me later.

NFL Sunday locks

After an extended heater that has lasted the better part of five weeks, your boy B Catz is back with another set of NFL Lockz!!!

CINCY (+3, +115) vs. INDY
Indy is one Luck turned ankle away from being 0-5. If I have said this once, I have said it a million times, this team is not that good and rely way too heavily on Luck to bail them out in the fourth. Well, it has been working for him all season, the Bengals will come in on a mission to prove that it is just luck (pun intended).

SEA (-7, -105) vs. STL
Seattle is going to be super pissed off after last week, couple that with a stunning mid week trade of Percy Harvin and you have the perfect upset recipe right?? Nope, Seattle comes in, lays down the hammer, and wins this game on the road by 33.

CAR (+7, -115) vs. GB
I love getting points with the Panthers, Cam Newton has rounded into form and should easily run for 150 yards and 2 td's against this lackluster Pack D. Pack are good, Panthers are better, go with big blue.

ARI (+4) vs. OAK
Fishy line of the week that you should undoubtedly go the other way on right? Nope, solid play here to take the Card's on the road in a game that they should and will absolutely dominate.

Super Catz Sunday

DEN (-10, -115) vs. NYJ
I'm not gonna spend very much time on this one for obvious reasons. The Jets have one of the worst cornerback situations in the history of the NFL. Manning will be able to find his primary option, secondary option, back up secondary option, third primary to the backup secondary option, anybody he damn well pleases basically. This is going to be a bloodbath.

GB (-3.5, -105) vs. MIA
Gotta follow up that last one with a pick that actually brings me happiness. Miami isn't good, a few early wins and people thought Tannehill had it all figured out...spoiler alert, he doesn't. Rodgers is going to tear this secondary apart to the tune of 300 yds and 3td's.

CAR (+7, -115) vs. CIN
I fully expect the Bengals to rebound from the trouncing they received last week at the hands of the Pats, but don't expect this one to be a cakewalk. Carolina has a stingy D that knocks you in the mouth and they should be able to hold Dalton and Co in check especially since AJ Green will be on the sideline watching in sweat pants. Look for a grind it out, punch em in the mouth, classic slober-knocker as the Panthers not only cover this one, but come close to winning.

DAL (+9, -115) vs. SEA
Another pick that brings me happiness right now, but tomorrow afternoon will probably bring bewilderment and confusion. Betting against Seattle at home is like betting on the Washington Generals to cover against the Globetrotters. I'm not saying its fixed like the Trotters (I just blew someone's mind), but would it really surprise you if it was? Doesn't Pete Carroll have that shady look like he could be involved in some serious underground game fixing with the mob? Hopefully this gets picked up by the AP and ran as an actual story even though its probably not true (probably). Oh yeah the pick, Dallas runs the ball, establishes their offense early and stays in this one till the end when they lose by 3.
