Hisashi Iwakuma takes the mound against Clay Bucholz as the Mariners try to keep their hot streak alive. In reality, this pick is probably shitty. Every time the Mariners get something going, they fuck it up somehow. I just have a hard time seeing them lose to a struggling Red Sox team with 'Kuma on the mound. Bucholz has a 7.02 ERA, even the lowly Mariners should be able to dominate that matchup.

Minnesota Twins at Los Angeles Angels (-188) (WINNER!)
The Angels are looking good tonight with Garret Richards on the mound. Richards has been dominant this month and has won his last 3 starts. He has a 2.79 ERA and will probably end up with 16+ wins. Tonight will be one of them. Oh and the have Mike Trout.

You know, after talking shit about baseball for a few days and the better part of the last 5 years, I'm starting to warm up to it. My picks are 6-3 thus far and I don't have to watch shit! So here are some more roided out picks for your MLB taste buds.

And wow have the Mariners really carried out this lock of the week thing! I'm pretty sure they've already dominated their runs and wins total from last year. Tonight is definitely the night where they lose by 15 and someone tears an ACL, but until that happens, I'm rollin with the Mariners again! Look for Justin Smoak to drop a couple Smoak Bombs on the only team in LA that Magic Johnson hasn't infiltrated.

Today is the worst day in America: Opening Day. A day in which people celebrate a "past time" and not a sport. A past time in which cast offs from other sports get a chance to stand around and chew while raking in the dough. I could go on and on about how much baseball sucks, but really, it's just the fans that try to justify it as some rigorous, grueling game that pisses me off. To those who enjoy the game, but recognize that it's nowhere near the physical level of basketball or football: Thank you and enjoy your ice cold summer ale at the ole ballpark.

As a matter of fact, enjoy one on me, BJ, as I hit you with some winners to keep your beer frosty.

King KKK Felix!!! That's right! Expect to see plenty of innings filled with K's as Felix Hernandez goes to California and dominates those hippies and hipsters in LA. There is no way the Mariners score more than 1 run, but Felix isn't going out there and giving up 3 smoke bombs to these assholes. Plus, Seattle is riding a Super Bowl high, supplemented by a marijuana high and if you take that, and add in the fact that this game is being played in a city with two high profile basketball teams, well, you got a Mariner's win. That's why this game is my Ric Flair, Stylin and Profilin lock of the WEEK!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
